The Packers activated Jordan Love from the Covid Reserve List earlier this week but placed defensive lineman Kenny Clark on the Covid List.  The Packers elevated Cole Van Lanen and Abdullah Anderson from the Practice Squad to the active roster.  Neither was designated as a Covid Replacement Player (for Clark), which seems odd. 

Equinimeous St. Brown (concussion), David Bakhtiari (knee), Billy Turner (knee) and Dominique Dafney (ankle) were inactive due to injury.  Safety Shawn Davis, Vernon Scott, and Jack Heflin were healthy inactives.  Jordan Love, Jake Van Lanen and Cole Hanson were active but did not play.

The Packers' offensive line played pretty well, particularly in pass protection.  The running backs received 20 carries and gained 80 yards, a 4.0-yard average.  The backs made some nice cuts to help the line look good.  The pass protection overall was very good.  Rodgers was sacked 3 times, including a free run given up by Kelly and another time when Newman got overpowered.  Rodgers often had very good time to throw and a lot of clean pockets.

Rodgers played well overall.  He finished with a 132.2 passer rating.  He overthrew a touch pass to Adams early and another pass in the end zone to Lazard, although that perhaps was catchable (it would have been a nice catch).  With Davante Adams limited to an average depth of target of just 5.5 yards (he finished with 6 receptions on 7 targets for just 44 yards), Rodgers threw some dimes.  As much as I tend to support Valdes-Scantling, I have to acknowledge that on 3 of his receptions totaling perhaps 68 yards (including his touchdown reception), Rodgers threw him open, including one pass that was Favrian.  

Marcedes Lewis continues to provide some spark on offense, finishing this game with 3 receptions on 3 targets for 40 yards.  Tyler Davis chipped in 22 receiving yards and Deguara added 16.  The Packers played 1.37 tight ends per play on average, continuing a trend of higher snap counts for tight ends lately. 

This was not one of the better results on defense.  The Ravens' backup quarterback, Tyler Huntley, did a fine job replacing Lamar Jackson, but he is limited as a passer.  His placement of the ball was not always good, and he clearly was reluctant to throw the ball downfield, much less deep, except to the Ravens' one-man wrecking crew, Mark Andrews.  Other than Andrews, Huntley's longest completed pass went for 8 yards.  Andrews caught 10 of 13 targets for 136, and picked up 10 of the Ravens' 12 receiving first downs, per Pro Football Focus.  Darnell Savage appeared to draw the brunt of having to defend Andrews, though I saw King and Sullivan in coverage as well.

However, Huntley did not throw an interception or fumble the ball.  While he completed 28 of 40 passes (70%), he averaged just 5.38 yards per attempt.  He did run 13 times (8 scrambles) for 73 yards, a 5.6-yard average.  His running backs added 70 more rushing yards on 13 carries, a 5.38-yard average.  The Packers did a nice job defending the Ravens' two very fast wide receivers, Hollywood Brown and Devin Duvernay.  Brown finished with just 43 yards on 10 receptions (14 targets), good for a 4.3-yard average per reception and just 3.07-yards per target.  Brown had been averaging 72.2 yards per game.  Duvernay finished with 3 receptions for 13 yards, also a 4.3-yard average.

The interesting snap counts include Henry Black earning just one snap and Kevin King getting just 13 snaps.  That is not new for King but Black had been getting more action.  Defensive End Abdullah Anderson logged 18 snaps but had no statistics.  He played while Heflin was a healthy scratch.  Amari Rodgers cannot get on the field on offense, and was replaced by Sullivan on punt returns.  Aaron Jones returned a kickoff.

Gary and Smith each were credited with 5 pressures but too often the Packers lost containment.  Slaton and Lancaster each had 4 tackles and each played 25 snaps, but Lowry had just one assisted tackle and Keke had no tackles.  Keke did bat down a pass and PFF credited Keke with 2 pressures.  PFF listed Lowry with zero pressures but indicated that five defensive linemen (which includes OLBs) had at least 2 pressures.  That suggest that two other unnamed defensive linemen had at least two pressures each.  Campbell finished with 10 tackles (5 solo), 1 tackle for loss, and he had the only sack.  Gary added a quarterback hit. 

The special teams were again horrible.  In the Watch Party Thread, we listed 6 poor plays from special teams, although perhaps Bojorquez's shanked punt should not be included since it netted 40 yards.  The positive were a couple of nice punts and Tyler Davis electing to do his job (blocking) on the onside punt, which allowed Dillon to recover the onside kick.
