Packers RB Eddie Lacy Nominated for Ground NFL Player of the Week

Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been nominated for the FedEx NFL Ground Player of the Week award for his performance against the Minnesota Vikings this past Thursday.

Lacy rushed for 105 yards on 13 carries (8.1 ypc) and two touchdowns in a 42-10 victory.

This is Lacy's first nomination this year. Also nominated for the award are DeMarco Murray of the Dallas Cowboys and Ben Tate of the Cleveland Browns.

The winner will be determined by fan voting at NFL.com/FedEx. If Lacy wins, FedEx will make a $2,000 donation to Green Bay’s local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Voting will take place until Thursday at 2:00 p.m. CT.
