There has been a lot of talk about the Packers utilizing two tight end sets with Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave. Hopefully 2025 is the year it happens.

For maximum use of 2 TE sets we need a coach willing to try different things. I don't think so far LeFluer has been able to use it to create passing game flexibility or create mismatches. I can see him using it in the running game for more blocking power. Otherwise, all i recall seeing is TE checkdowns, outs and short yardage passes.

Hard to try things and get too creative when one of your two TEs misses the bulk of his first two seasons.

There you go letting facts get in the way of a good argument!

When you put two TEs on the field, you're taking a WR off the field. Do we want to take Golden, or Reed, or Doubs off the field to put Musgrave on it?
The 3 WR sets we run just about force the opponent to play nickel, leaving them with only six run defenders against our offensive line and TE. Six tacklers, six blockers. That's good math if you're Josh Jacobs.

Thanks, LH....I'm all about our OL being bigger and tougher and not needing our TE for blocking every play...mainly pass blocking instead of going out for a pass also. If we can get a couple of them happy enough with contracts then maybe we can get to the show instead of an early exit. It figures, just when it's starting to jell, $$$ money has to be the distraction.
