Packers' Alex Light issued one-game suspension by the NFL
-- The Green Bay Packers will be down one offensive lineman entering the penultimate game of the season.
Alex Light was suspended without pay for one game on Monday for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, according to a release from the league.

Light will miss this week's meeting with the New York Jets but is eligible to return to the team's active roster the following Monday. He'll have an opportunity to suit up for the finale against the Detroit Lions, and with the Packers already eliminated from playoff contention, there's a chance he'll get to play.
Light, 22, was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent in the spring. He had been inactive in every single game this year until he was called upon last week against the Atlanta Falcons. He played two different spots on the offensive line, but only accounted for three total snaps on offense.

I know you only get a few chances to use "penultimate", Zach, but was it worth busting it out for Alex Light? Seems like a waste of a damn good adjective to me.

Cut this clown.
Sign the best O line prospect off another team's Practice Squad.
It would be like another late round 2019 draft choice.
Doesn't Philbin constantly preach accountability?
Alex is incredibly "Light" in that department.
