Here is what a 20-game schedule would look like this year:

P1. August 8
P2. August 15

1. August 22
2. August 29
3. September 5
4. September 12
5. September 19
6. September 26 (*AFC Off)

7. October 3 (*NFC Off)
8. October 10
9. October 17
10. October 24
11. October 31
12. November 7
13. November 14
14. November 21 (*AFC Off)

15. November 28 (*NFC Off)
16. December 5
17. December 12
18. December 19
19. December 26
20. January 2

January 8-9 Wild Card rounds
January 15-16 Elimination rounds
January 23 AFC/NFC Championship games
February 6 Super Bowl

* AFC/NFC Bye Weeks alternate every year

We know that the NFL is all about the benjamins, so when the next CBA is negotiated, the language for a 20-game season will be inserted, and another adjustment will be forced upon NFL owners.
