Good video. LaFleur knows what Shanahan is going to do. They’re pups from the same litter. He can suggest to Pettine what scheme changes might work. If Pettine is not receptive, I think we might be looking at a new DC in 2020.

The other thing is, I think it’s time to give Rashan Gary many more snaps. You can’t expect him to really know exactly what he’s doing, but moving him around and relying on his incredible athletic chops will introduce just enough doubt to throw Jimmy G. off a bit. Put him at ILB, on the end, next to Clark. Have him blitz, drop, back. Need a madman out there wrecking plans. You drafted a great athlete, now use him, even if it’s ugly from an assignment perspective.
