When I watched the instant replays of hands to the face I see Trey Flowers slap down on D. Bahktari face/ Helmet maybe that was the hands to face? Either way I can't believe its ok to grab the inside of Jersey in the neck area, but from what I read its called a "push and pull" and it's legal l. I don't know why? Seems utterly stupid. Anyway good sell by bahktari.

Trade deadline coming. I love all the WR efforts !!! Trade deadline is approaching. Packers need to be in aggressive talks and let the cards fall where they may

Monday night's officiating crew initially defended the calls, which were justified as penalizing "prolonged, forceful contact to the head and neck area."

NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent detailed that the penalties were looked into following the game and that the second penalty against Flowers should not have been called.
Trey Flowers COMPLAINED the 1st time and it was found to be legitimate foul!!
The second was Not after he said he adjusted his hands and was not found to be a legitimate foul.
Now if the 1st call was legitimate he shouldn't have been complaining because he says he does this move all the time, well then I can't blame bahktari for selling the foul because it was a foul the first time and I can't blame the referees because it was a legitimate call the 1st time.
Now if both times we're legitimate, then I could see Detroit's COMPLAINING viewpoints.
But. just like in basketball sometimes you gotta be a good actor and sell the foul!!

"I can definitely tell you," Bakhtiari said, "for a good portion of the game, I was getting my throat punched in, and I was looking up at the sky a fair amount. If you think about it, if your hand is in my throat, you're probably hitting my facemask, which is pushing my head up in the sky."

One last final post. If Trey Flowers has been doing this move and never getting caught COMPLAINING on both penalties and yet the officials have never been calling a penalty before then, but the NFL ADMITS the first one was definitely a penalty, then ALL his so called SACKS NEED to reviewed to see how many he has gotten away with and not been called during his career.
