N.O.
No.
Hell no.
F NO.

We don't need this kind of drama and headache in the locker room. I hope this clown is banned from the league for threatening violence and using racial slurs.

A simple NO would be enough. And by the way, its the only word what makes sense in your post.

He used the word “cracker.” That is not a racial slur. Not all white people are crackers. Just ignorant, racist, knuckle dragging white people. You may be a cracker, I am not.

But then by your own definition, if a black person calls a white person a cracker, the black person is accusing the white person of being racist or bigoted. I am pretty sure I can't call my boss racist.

This NPR article, "The Secret History of the Word Cracker" does not make AB's use of the word, if he used it, any better. A shortened version of Whip-cracker isn't nice.

Brown's use was far worse than that TGR. In context he was calling Gruden a slave master and pimp and every black and player of color an 'Uncle Tom'. There was no way he could be in their locker room after that. Not the first time he pulled this crap. Last contract he had his 'guys' spread rumors about how racist the Steelers owner were toward him and other black players. If half the stories I heard are true, then moving Brown as quickly as the Steelers did saved Brown life. And now, he is at the last stop for all talented but ego driven players, New England. Brown is nothing more than a Mercenary, and all that it implys. In later years, when he is out of the game, he will regret the relationships he has destroyed, the friendships he has ruined, and for what? As a Black Man I will tell everyone reading this that Browns actions are not about race and racism. It is a man using race to run another hustle (or con if you wish) getting what he can before he can no longer play the game. I'll leave it at that.

Umm...Egbert

A black man calling a white man "cracker" or "honky" is literally the equivalent of a white man calling a black man the "n" word. It is 100% a racial slur. While I understand that is not the actual origin of the word, that is how it used and what it means in this day and age.

Actually, forget football anywhere in the NFL. -- Brown's days playing NFL football are probably long gone.

More important.... Brown needs immediate medical care & scrutiny to avoid him harming anyone or himself... This is much more serious than just another diva WR gone wild.

I do not think I have ever seen a more orchestrated set of actions in the NFL ever.

And he ended up just where he wanted (IMO). And with 9 Mil guaranteed.

Stupid like a fox. (and a SB ring)

Wow! --- Can't believe the Pats.... The NFL is getting more & more "bush" every year. --- There are many varied reasons why fans no longer have the time for the NFL --- Add $hit like this to the list.

Yeah sure, thats why you spend half of your life watching the NFL. Dont know witch fans have no longer time for the NFL, since all numbers say something different. But today trumping (telling the opposite of the truth) is on vogue, I got that.
Smart move by the Pats, like always.

The guy is smart like a fox.... didn’t want to play for a loser team.... got out of his contact.....and ends up with Tom Brady.....i just hope this example doesn’t spread like a cancer thru the NFL... but of course it will... when you got NE in the wings...

A sad day in the NFL. Let them have the little princess. At least the Pack beat the Bears. Go Pack.

Pack beats the Pats in the SB and AB drops what would be the winning TD.

It took NE all of 4 hours to fully vet this nut job (yeah right), and pay this nut job 15 Mil. (That is a discount for top notch WR's)

But not nut job WR's.

It makes me sick they are called "patriots." I don't know how this can be looked at as anything other than "tampering" or "collusion."

I hope the New England cheat-ri-ots get their helmet handed to them.

I think it would be exhibit A in the NFL's defense against collusion. Having all 32 teams secretly or tacitly agree not to sign problem players is collusion.
