I bet they told him 5 times here’s what to do.
Time to move on.

Now it’s Rich Bisaccia?
Since 2019 we have had three DCs and three ST coaches. Maybe it’s the common denominator?
Arguably one of the best games MLF has coached here. … Yet, he still lost in very familiar manner.
Bad decisions (passing up points on the road)
Penalties
Poor cornerback play
Poor ST play
Red zone inefficiency
I have only missed one or two games since about 93 (from NY) , including pre season. But it’s very hard to watch this team with Keasan Nixon. He acts like an idiot. His false bravado is usually undone by a few game changing penalties. Now without any semblance of a pass rush, he will become toasted to a crisp. But annoyingly, when a quarterback makes an errant throw that he knocks down we have to watch his celebration. Even though we all know what’s to come.

There were a few special teams blunders prior to 2019, not sure Lafleur is the only culprit in the packers futility there. Would be nice if he could fix it though. I’m pretty sure he was asked to keep Pettine so placing that hire on him isn’t really fair so unless your giving up on Halfley his only bad choice was Joe Barry and boy was it a bad one.

Barry was his only bad hire at DC but if you include special teams I would add Mennenga and Drayton both of which were horrible.

You're all on the fire MLF bandwagon, but who do you get that's better?!? Also, others point out how well the team was coached to even be in it with this duct taped roster. As long as there are valid arguments on both sides with no clear improvement available, I don't see how firing could be a good idea. Re: our ST coordinator, the same cannot be said. GB ST remain bottom dwellers of the league. (Totally independent of coughing up one onsides kick)

Andy, I saw your defense of R Bisaccia on CHTV the other day , before you go any further how come opposing teams following kick offs returns always start at least the 35 and the packers following kick off returns usually start the 20 ?? Our kick return team always appears disorganized with major gaps that kick returners can choose from , not to mention the Packers kick return team ( never ) seams to have any excitement after making a solid or better a violent hit, just blah like I hate my job?
On a positive note, I was really impressed with the play of the Packer DL and backers, Riley 97 was a good addition he worked with C Wooden in the off season. The Bears might have underestimated the packers young defensive talent maybe we all have W Brinson, LVN, B Cox, B Sorrell, E Cooper,... Q Walker who had a great physical game ( Lets not give up on these dudes just yet )

Either Bissacia has become a bad ST coach or it’s something to do with LaFleur. When Gute has given LaFleur specialist returners, we have chosen not to use them. We aren’t using Nixon even on kicks. We chose not to use Hardman. We chose to put rookies out there on the protection team until it bit us and then bit us again. I find it really hard to see that all being Bisscia’s first choice.

No rookies fumbled the on sides kick; blew a basic coverage on 4th and goal; got burned 1:1 in OT; dropped another INT by McKinney; whiffed on a block that put Love in the Infirmary, on down the line. Failures by veteran leadership.

Brinson costs us a win with that stupid face mask. Wonder how bright he is? Not too or we wouldnt have gotten him cheaply.
LVN? I backed him when others were calling him a loser and now I'm joining that group. He lools like he put on 40 pounds of fat and is big and slow now, no quickness, no speed at all.

Time for Andy and the rest of the loyal Packer press to identify the latest scapegoat — Mennenga, Drayton, Bisaccia, Pettine, Barry , so they can start to celebrate the upcoming extensions for the 7th seed savants Gutey & MLF.

Right on. Must be difficult for GB media to have to play this game all year, every year.
I would prioritize my integrity and remove myself from the daily ethical 'gray zone' by moving.
There are plenty of opportunities if one has an established audience.

Ken I still say Hafwit is using Barrys play book and modifying it slightly.
He came here with zero, nada no defensive coaching skills and it shows.
Our secondary is a shit show
FumundaStank
December 22, 2025 at 03:22 pm
He's playing the defensive style MLF wants. MLF loves the soft bend, don't break defense. That was one of the reasons he hired Barry. The problem with that defense is it always breaks, especially with the Packers. They don't have the DB's to play that style. Of course, that problem is on Gute.
Celise...
December 22, 2025 at 04:36 pm
Hafley is the coordinator. The secondary as well as the linebackers and defensive linemen all have position COACHES. Coaches should be teaching who ever they have to play to their strengths and the coordinator puts it all together and should adapt to the combined strengths. The foundation is where you start with building anything and if it is weak there will be no hiding it when it's all together, the weakest link will break, in this case, the secondary.

RODGERS - as a Steeler - IS STILL CARRYING GUTEKUNST AND SAVING GUTENKUNST'S JOB.
Aaron Rodgers should be leading the Packers to the Super Bowl right now and should have been leading the Packers to Super bowls in 2023-24 and 2024-25 as well and Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, Rasul Douglas and others should still be Packers.
And Gutekunst should be changing light bulbs somewhere.
If Jordan had stayed in the game, it would have been a blow out - Jordan's is immobile in the pocket and slow making decisions and consistently making the wrong decisions at the worst times and inaccurate and throwing inaccurate hospital balls to his receivers. .
Gutekunst started destroying the Packers chances starting with not resigning Jordy Nelson in 2018 - Gutekujnst has no respect for veteran Packers and decimated the Packers receiver corps when they were on the brink of the Super Bowl.
Every week Gutekunst names a new scapegoat for his propagandists to skewer.
So Gutekunst order this week to his propagandists is to scapegoat Romeo Doubs - there were plenty of other miscues and mistakes.
So many mistakes by the Packers Saturday night - Lafleur not taking the field goal in the 1st quarter and again in overtime, the Jacobs fumble, Doubs not fielding the onside kick, the poor exchange between Rhyan and Willis, and the defense not stopping the Bears on the last drive.
The Steelers and Rodgers may have saved the Packers and Jordan's season yesterday with the victory over the Lions.
If the Lions had beaten the Steelers yesterday and the Packers had lost their last 2 games against Ravens and Vikings, all the Lions would have had to do is split with the Vikings and Bears to take the last playoff spot and eliminate the Packers.
Now the only way the Packers are eliminated from the playoffs is if the Lions win both of their 2 remaining games by beating the Vikings in Minnesota and beating Bears in Chicago and the Packers losing their 2 remaining games to the Ravens next week in Green Bay and Vikings the following week in Minnesota,
With Jordan at QB it is always possible the Packers could lose to the Ravens and Vikings, but at least now the Lions need to sweep the Vikings and Bears.

I for one am right with you on Love. I teetered on just who is he and can he get the job done for two years but now I see through the guy and its easy when you think about it.
1. He spent three years watching Rodgers and learned to try and throw off his back foot, toss the long ball and use the entire clock up to determine, not where the defense is and our routes, no its all about who the hell is going the rush he so how fast do I need to rid of the ball to save my ass.
A two yard pass when you need 9 for a first down?? Thats just saving your ass from being hit not doing progressions to move the ball.
He aint that bright but he is bright enough to figure out how to dump the ball off.

Rams want the SB and they do everything they can to get It.
Packers are still in the Murphy era, post season Is the goal. Nothing else.

So far I've seen two photos (Bisaccia and MLF)----these photos send a not-so-subtle message.
***Someone is missing*** but since he will be automatically re-installed by the daring, new "President", no one in the GB media-verse will touch him.
4 more years, Packer fans-get ready for several frustrating hours per week.
I am a 20+ year Packer fan and have been struggling with what to do because I will not go through another 4 years of Gute and the amount of spin-control and deceit this team requires.
I imagine Hafley will be picked up by another team and I will follow him. I don't care if it's a re-build, at least he knows how to be an administrator (Boston college) and he know Defense and he is honest and a 'culture' guy.

I agree from a 50 year Packer fan and shareholder, blessed to watch through the 70s and 80s just so I have context. I am also a Red Sox fan through the same time frame, so I know a thing or two about having your heart ripped out by a sports franchise. The Packers bear an amazing similarity to those 70s and 80s Red Sox teams and have for over a decade - just can't seal the deal. Don't know what glory there is in having the youngest team every year as well ? Really thought they were all in this year after the Parsons signing and I believe they are but this coaching staff is so mid and the yearly proliferation of injuries has sank yet another year I fear. Too bad since there are a ton of very beatable teams in the Playoffs much like 2010. The annual Playoff heartbreak is on deck again since we don't seem to have coaches that can smell blood in the water - McCarthy couldn't either except 1 year where the stars all aligned. The following year 2011 was perhaps the biggest bust this franchise every encountered - a loaded 1 loss team one and done in the Playoffs !
Fortunately I am not that serious about sports any longer - Bill Buckner in 1986 and the 2014 NFC Championship Game took care of that passion. Hang in there guys - just remember we don't get paid as fans so it isn't that dire either way. I certainly hope it is a Playoff Run for the Ages and that is what it would be if this team moves up the food chain, but I live in reality in 2025.

Many fans do not hold Gutekunst accountable for poor OL/DL construction though he has spent millions.
I was told 'this was the year'--so I bit.....However, the expensive, but bad O-line, bare corner-back room while we were sold that Nixon/Valentine were #1's, doubling down on the 'amazingness of Gary and LVN, (all they needed was coaching (didn't work) and on and on and on.
One has to suspend the truth to root for this team.

There is clearly something going on over at Lombardi--MLF is not in the 'in group'-the little media minions are already signaling this and lining up to serve---pitiful. It's a sad day when the fans are tasked with finding the truth.
MLF is not perfect but he is a good guy and I think he should (likely is) look beyond GB.

Read between the lines. There is plenty of evidence, if one pays attention, to what is going on.
It just takes a bit of intuition and a strong sense of reading people's motivations. They give themselves away.
Just wait a couple of months.

"Read between the lines..."
I honestly am trying NFLfan, but all I see is green in the unoccupied spaces. I am all for more green spaces.
Like, what makes a vase or music? The empty spaces void of clay or notes are just as important as what is occupied (which tends to get the notoriety)

Sorry pantz, you need to stop all that burping and read between the lines, use your intuition, and read people's motivations.
I bet you didn't even know that Jordan Love is a bad quarterback because he didn't have a big brother to beat the crap out of him like Aaron Rodgers did. You can ask NFL Fan about that one, in case you missed it. Also, Marshawn Lloyd gets injured a lot because he was a mama's boy or something.

I am here...I am here to save the day (and season). Think of me as Linus wrapping his suckie blankie around that little Christmas tree that everyone overlooked and didn't realize how much it would shine, if given the opportunity.
I freakin' like this team, alot. My wish is to somehow find away to keep #2 on the roster (he would have to agree and I dont blame him for not).
To the ones who aren't injured but still choose not to pursue till the whistle blows...? By now you should be in shape if not injured. Maybe you have that mentality or not,not sure.
I thought the officials called an excellent game.I try not to be a Homer (and project) but disappointed in a few of the Bear's players that intentionally wanted to hurt the Packer QB. That includes #2 Willis. During the game and not watching any replay again, it looked like the defender was targeting Willis and trying to put full weight on his right shoulder. I will look at that again to see what I see this time around.
The cheap shots in the past by Packer players onto Bears players is also unacceptable. Long time ago Charles Martin and this game by one of our DBs on a WR.
Okay, I am starting to feel better at letting my grievances out of my internal vacuum.
Peace and give it your all...every Packer, please!

I know you mean well but I am a serious fan and if I am going to invest my time and energy in a team, I want to see honesty, problem recognition, responsive solutions and putting the team first, which may require firing some people.
I'm ready for an 'owner-team' as that provides a layer of accountability missing from the Packers. I'm also going to follow Hafley as I think he has a level of accountability that I find imperative.

My big grievance is the lack of player development. It's been suggested that coaches can't do that anymore due to a lack of practice time allowed. I don't know how this works but draft and develop doesn't seem to be working.
