Somebody on your YT channel is saying that roster depth is no more important now; I think it is:

1) concussion protocol takes players out of the game seemingly like an ejection on a whim sometimes. We know the league doesn't give a damn about player safety, what are the chances they always get this right?

2) the kicking game has changed. Should be an increase to roster size but since there's not, both depth and versatility are more important than ever. I've always been a fan of Bo Melton but seeing him ace the perimeter at CB and make up for our injured WRs as well as being a star on STs all in the same game? It will be interesting to see what snaps he gets.

Hopefully the Pack rises to this occasion, GPG!

Say goodbye to first place Packer fans. With Detroit and the Bears winning yesterday, tonight will be the last time that the Packers will be in first place in the North this season. Embarrassing themselves the way they played Carolina (only underdogged by two TDs) and Cleveland (that the 1 -7 Jets just beat) and heading into their difficult part of the season, they will not even make the playoffs. Gone is the elation after the first two games. The Packers still have MLF coaching with his predictable and well known by the world playbook, and Love who still throws off of his back foot and often into triple coverage. I hope everything I wrote comes out wrong. Been a Packers fan for over fifty years and they make it so hard to love them.

The Packers are going to get measured for their "big boy pants" tonight. Andy covered the various implications, consequences and benefits that will come with a win or loss. But ultimately the outcome of this one by itself won't either cinch or preclude anything for the season going forward.

The Pack can win and then get tripped up over the Giants next Sunday. They could lose and go on a win streak for the next few weeks. We just don't know about the team this year but how they show tonight might give some useful clues.

I don't really understand how he Packers are slight favorites after what we've seen of them last Sunday and throughout the first half of the season. Maybe oddsmakers are seeing something we're not or just looking to make a bigger haul from bettors.

The Packers have played the Eagles with some grit in recent meetings; two at Philly and one in Brazil. Maybe being at Lambeau in this one is seen as an edge, though it certainly wasn't against the Panthers. Nor was it last year against the NFC North. The setting and the elements that might be in play in Lambeau Field won't be a factor the Philly team will be particularly bothered by.

In their most recent games vs the Eagles the Packers have lost because they couldn't win in the trenches on either side, came away with field goals instead of td's on scoring chances, missed a kick or two, and had the quarterback throw 2 or 3 picks. They didn't really get overrun or blown out but they did get gashed by big plays running and receiving.

Too much in the first half to this season the Packers have played the very ways they've been losing in recent history to the Eagles. Philly is in process of becoming in the NFL what New England and Kansas City have been when it comes to being the champs. They've made 3 Super Bowls and won 2 since 2017. Their GM is the best in the business when it comes to assembling a great team. They have one of the most respected and accomplished defensive coordinators in the game.

I don't expect the Packers to be embarrassed tonight but they could be frustrated. In the end it may not be so much whether they win or lose but how they play the game. What might be most telling is how much more growing they need to do to fit those "big boy pants" the Eagles and their kind wear.

Come on.

Why favorite is because they are better than them.

I will enjoy the Eagles o line holding more than tom brady holding Irina Shayk
