We have a depth problem at: DL / CB / RB2 / OL .....DL when our starter is out big drop off in interior pass rush. WR with #11 down we have a big piece ML has not been able to use his noodle to fill even though the answer in Golden is right in front of him. CB was an issue after Gute dealt a pretty good one to the Bills for no good reason. RB2 has a huge drop off from the NFL's 3rd best RB to ones in the 50's at RB2. OL has been a mess since Gute decided to not just do the obvious and get a good OC....head scratcher.

To me the critical question is how healthy is Hobbs? Put it another way: why is he seemingly less athletic than he was in the summer? Was that just illusion from pad free practice or the pace of the training field?

If Hobbs is fit—if this is him at his athletic best, then we do have a big problem because he’s not fast enough or agile enough based on his play since his return and is, at best, a slot and we need to accept that (or the team does). If so I’d look hard at PS squads for depth on the perimeter and plan on starting Valentine and any associated system adjustments.

If in fact he’s just not back to his normal level of athletic capability then I’d say the lesson is he that needs rest and that we brought him back too early. In which case I’d deactivate him until he is physically more ready. In the interim Valentine should start. Depending on how long that is anticipated to take, the system adjustments may be more minor than if it’s long term.

I, of course, have no idea of his true health status. All I know is that the Hobbs of the last 2 weeks is visibly physically unable to perform the role and should have been replaced in those games. Unfortunately, I don’t expect any useful information to come out on this unless and until they do decide to deactivate him.

No mention of the sloppy play, 10 Penalties for 94 yards. Good teams don't do that.
Hobbs was supposed to be penalty adverse but even he got hit this last game.
Fix this please. Tired of teams getting a good return and then extra 15 yards because of ST penalty while we start inside the twenty due to a ST penalty.
To borrow a phrase from Justin " You will lose a game because of this."

'Wish-casting'------'Hey, we're paying Hobbs a boatload of $$$ and we imagine he'll be able to play a position he wasn't signed to play and he's coming off knee surgery, and we're keeping him out there-' (smells like gute to me)

Arthur Smith--'sicko meme looking in the window'. Hilarious about Arthur loving his life with all of his TE's
