I am not really familiar with Simmons. His stats indicate a turnover machine but below average tackling numbers for a top Safety.

This is the epitome of the all in now and leave the future to hope type of move. He will be 31 in November, he’s definitely a ball hawk but he’s a so so tackler. He’s good now but he’s not going to be cheap, far from it. If we are going to spend that kind of cap on a player it has to be on one that’s a plausible 3-5 year solution. Just a no.
