Great review of these 2 candidates. I think Dennard Wilson is 1A for me with Christian Parker being 1B. Wilson has coached under a large number of different coordinators, which he can take the best of what he learned from each, has a very aggressive mentality and preaches a physical style of play and has lead his units to the #1 ranking in pass coverage each of the last 2 years with 2 different teams. I think LaFleur is more likely to go with Parker due to his familiarity with him and is a strong choice as well, but if I were making the hire I would lean toward Wilson.

I am with you Packman. Whoever GB hires needs a strong background in coaching DBs. It is the biggest weakness with our team. And it would make the front seven even better by locking down WRs, thus more time for a sack or hurried throws.

Does anyone know what happened to the poster GreenGold? Haven't heard from him in a long time.

Evero would still be my #1 choice, but we also can't put all of our eggs in one basket and lose out on others.

It's being reported that Baltimore's DC, Mike Mcdonald has been hired as Seattle's HC.

That probably lessons the likelihood that Dennard would be available, as it's highly likely that he will either be promoted to Baltimore's DC or follow Mcdonald to Seattle to become DC there.

none of these guys...MLF shocked the world by hiring an old friend..some college coach...he better be right about this hire or theyll both be gone soon..
