One win against a very bad team should no be considered as a significant indication of improvement. With that said, a healthy AJ only helps JL. The D still has much to prove.

Do ya think maybe better play calling lending itself to the weapons we have that are functional might play into the equation ? Just saying, like simplified chain moving short passes to play makers in space that are quick easy completions or maybe throwing over the middle to whichever receiver that decides he is going to catch passes on game day. Sorta like the amazing miraculous play design to Musgrave last week that resulted in a TD - was like taking candy from a baby. Just thinking those play calls might work a tad bit better than the 40 yard 8 second drawn out rocket launchers to Watson who catches 1 out of 10 and hopefully there is a Pass Interference call or running Dillon up the gut on 3rd and 6 with zero offensive line success. Maybe, just maybe this way we stay out of 3rd and long situations where Love is running like Custer at the Little Big Horn the minute he touches the ball.

GBS,

I said this after the draft. Strategy has to be run first, high percentage passes which means TE and RB heavy. All of that relies on a dominant (or at least consistent) O line.

I see incompetence from the coaching staff. I think the roster is talented.
