You threw out a lot of variables.I truly believe any OTHER top 5 QB would have won, 1 of our SB shots 2019-21.
Last year none of it was on Defense and all on Offense and ST. Wilson already won 1 SB with a great defense and great RB so I'm sure he could have outplayed AR last playoff game. Gute not moving up to #20 and getting Jefferson is a huge pivotal move that did not happen and would have given us 2-#1 WR's and 2 top end WR's for teams to defend, otherwise Gute has been pretty steady on his picks. I believe the Jefferson pick cost us 2-SB's to this day. The Jefferson pick also made DA leaving with an heir apparent. Makes me wonder if Gute feels the same way. I'm all in for Watson though. The main thing is DA is gone and our trigger man will no longer have the lazy luxury of pre-destined delivery to 1 WR on most every play. He will actually have to do his job and seek out the weaker links on the field and take advantage of them. Maybe our OL is healthy for the first time in 3 years also. AR has never performed up to expectation against SF....The team he swore would regret not picking him #1 overall. You gotta back up that to be "HOF GREAT"

Rodgers had open guys all night in that playoff loss but he only threw to Adams. Assuming he might have looked to Jefferson simply because of his draft status is just that: an assumption. And who knows if Jefferson has the same impact with Green Bay anyways? Rodgers hates young receivers so thinking that would be any different with Jefferson is another assumption.

NOPE. Jefferson was best WR in the last 2 drafts. Look what Vikings did with him. Day 1 starter. Enough said.

" I believe the Jefferson pick cost us 2-SB's to this day" is one of the funniest things I've ever read. Kudos.

PA, Is Jefferson a difference maker...ON ANY TEAM? When a defense stuffs the run game or a RB is hurt and your HC abandons the run game as his best fix. You better be able to sling it to more than 1 great WR. We had a great WR (1) and JAG's. Glad I hit your funny bone...It's the truth. GPG
