Thank you for pointing out that really, the running game was working and we could have used it. This was a frustration through the whole course of the game.

So is MM a great/good/avg coach?
How many times has there been complaints about him not adjusting mid-game? Any avg coach can come up with a good game plan. If they can't, what are they doing being head coaches in the NFL? MM is riding AR's coat tails to stardom.

I'm curious if anyone follows that Patriots and if they have similar complaints on Belichick?

Mike McCarthy and his offense have never done well against really good defenses.

McCarthy and his offense will destroy average to weak defenses. Unfortunately, there's not many average to weak defenses in the playoffs.

Some people will say "but they beat a really good Steelers defense and won the Super Bowl". What the average fan doesn't understand is that it took a defensive touchdown by Nick Collins in order for the Packers to have enough points to win that Super Bowl. McCarthy and Rodgers got all the credit. When in fact the Packers' offense only scored 24 points. The Steelers offense had 25 points. Without Collins defensive touchdown, the Packers offense doesn't have enough points to win.

Just re-watch the past few years of Packers offense vs 49ers or Seahawks or Giants. Or have a look at last years Bengals game. It will tell you all you need to know about the Packers offense. You can't just look at box scores. You have to watch the games so you can eliminate the 4th quarter garbage time TDs after the game has already been decided.

Funny every analyst I've ever heard has nothing but praise for MM.

So because you've personally never heard an analysis say something bad Mike McCarthy is incapable of error?

Mack is human, and just like everyone else he deserves credit for his successes and his failures. He does a lot of things right, but he screwed up against the Bills exactly the way Nagler described. It cost them the game, and it could be argued that it got Bulaga hurt to boot.
