Woodson Reportedly Fined 10K For Punch
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Charles Woodson was fined $10,000 by the NFL for a punch thrown during the Saints game.

The NFL fined Green Bay Packers cornerback Charles Woodson $10,000 for throwing a punch in the regular-season opener against the New Orleans Saints, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

You know what's interesting: Woodson is here being fined the same amount that Moss was fined in '04 for 'The Moon'.
In my mind, no matter how mad I was at that time.. this was way worse.
Should've been more.
And I'm saying that as a guy that loves me some C-Wood.

Weren't the Saints accused of hitting BF late in the NFC CG a couple years ago? Seems like its coached to that team to continue playing after the whistle to get a shot in.

This doesn't bother me at all. It's uncharacteristic of Woodson-- this and the grappling going on beforehand leave me to believe they guy obviously deserved a swift punch in the gut.

Doesn't anyone do the old pinch and twist anymore?- that'll get their attention and not bring on a fine. THis is more of an issue of poor coaching on dirty play by our staff. Time to call in Nate Scarboro.
