Or Elliot or Janis? Guess they want to go with those who have stunk up the place and focus on pad level.....

Tundra and pooch, I totally agree. Especially with Pennel!! With little to no production from Boyd or Guion why is it such a hard thing to activate the most active D-linemen on the roster!! Domfounded Capers, Mashed Potato Mike and Tinkering Ted have to be blind to not see what Pennel put on tape and in practice since July....WTF?? The brain trust seems brain dead!

Ted doesn't decide who is active on gameday. That's solely on MM and his assistants.

We all understand it's ultimately TAter and Domfounded making the call for Sunday's active and inactive but Im sure Tinker has some pull and conversations with those two. Semantics...

It's still early in the season. It's a long season. Pennell,Janis and the rest of the rookies (we haven't seen) will get their shot(s) in some way.

Agree on the F. Rodgers looking more and more like a wasted pick.

Hardly. He'll develop. But that was a brutal game.

Way too early to call Rodgers a "bust". Just think back to Finley's rookie season. Very little production with far more valleys than peaks. I think Rodgers will be fine.

Yeah but with Finley you could see his exceptional athleticism from the beginning. Rodgers doesn't have that. And a lot of guys don't develop. They just hang on the roster until newer players bump them off.

Draft Value:

Clinton Dix: D-
Davonte Adams: D
Richard Rogers: F
Khiri Thornton: D+
Carl Bradford: D
Corey Linsley: B+
Jarred Abbrederis: B
Demitri Goodson: B
Jeff Janis: A

Pennel: B+, Jeremy Vujnovich: A, Adrian Hubbard: B-, Charles Clay: B-, Jarone Elliott: B+, Raijon Neal: A

Jeff Janis and Jerret Boykin should be the #3 & #4 wideouts right now, White the #5. Davonte Adams has a 10 yard split of an offensive lineman, zero explosion. Get Davonte some catches, raise his stock, trade him by week 6. Jordy, Janis, Cobb, Abbrederis, Boykin, & White thru 2015.

Hasean Dix is pedestrian, & much like AJ Hawk will always be a defensive liability.

Richard Rogers could have been an undrafted free agent if the packers didn't take him in the 3rd round.

Pennel should have the Packers starting NT week 1.

Jeremy Vujnovich is the 6th best Olineman on the team and should be activated immediately.

MM's offensive scheme is lacking. His play-calling is laughable.

more counters and traps. more sprintouts and rollouts, more playaction, more reverses and end-arounds, & much, much more wr, te and hb screens.

Ben has been around for a while. He is a bit of a bomb-thrower with his opinions. He is usually pretty definite with his opinions. I will say that he appears to follow the packers pretty closely. His post is not surprising.

The real question is: Why haven't the Packers revolutionized the RB position by picking up LaMichael James? The man is an immense talent, worthy of a 1st rd pick trade. Why is he out of the NFL?

Yeah, let's roll with Abbrederis as the #4 WR. You don't need two intact ACLs to play WR.

I can't believe future hall of famer Lemichael James is still out there looking for work!

My two cents. Could be dead wrong but its almost an attitude going on that if were paying the big bucks, the guy is playing, period.
Lacy, not cutting it so far, Starks and others are but Lacy gets the calls. Hey, can't sit the guy making da moooooney.
Besides makes management look stupid in their draft picks, thus Perry and Datone play and guys like Pennel sit. Guys like Janis sit, Adams plays.
You figure it out.

I'm breaking my own rules of to never comment on this, but I have to...

You were perfectly right when you said. 'Could be dead wrong'. That is where you should have ended your sentence.

Maybe its by design. They know someone is bound to get hurt and then they will put the hungry guys in. Problem is Jones healed and Hawk well he's consistent...

Anyone know how Hubbard is doing. He has talent and a mean streak to boot it seems. Could use some more nasty.
