The Good: NFC North Champions. Swept the Viqueens and Bears. Next week it should be a complete sweep of the division and lockin a first round bye.

The Bad: I need to do some last minute Christmas shopping in the morning

The Ugly; I ran out of beer in the 3rd quarter (drank to much watching turnovers in the first half)

For some reason football people said the Packers couldn't win in Minnesota, well that was the Mike McCarthy Packers not Matt LaFleur's Packers who are unbeaten in the division! Good: The Packers beat down the Vikings convincingly! Bad: All the Packer fans who doubted their team and listened to experts bad mouth the Packers all season! Ugly: Packer beat writers who should be banned from ever covering the Packer, who also bad mouthed the team: Demovsky, Woods and Silverstein and should be required to wear Packers clothing!

Good: WR and TE blocking. Special mention to Geronimo for recovering Graham fumble. Also, kudos to officials for keeping it in their pockets and letting them play.

Bad: Rodgers’ short throws. That’s a dangerous miss, as we saw.

Ugly: Allowing Minnesota to repeatedly and successfully target the ball.

Good-Beating down on the Viqueens and shutting down the horn.
Bad-Jimmy Graham taking contact and fumbling when he should be going out of bounds.
Ugly-The Viqueens fans, they were down on their offense before the end of the 1st and then left early with the game still on the line.

A veteran like Graham should have switched the ball to his left arm well before the contact happened. The fumble (if it could have been stripped on that side) would have been out of bounds if he'd followed basic run arm/ball rules.

GOOD: Matt LaFleur playcalling. Drives stalled because of player execution, but LaFleur just kept drawing up the right plays at the right times all game.

BAD: Allen Lazard drops. We need a #2 WR and Lazard seemed to be emerging. He was constantly open, but he dropped too many passes to really take advantage.

UGLY: Jamaal Williams injury. We aren't very deep at RB because they haven't gotten Dexter Williams much experience this year. We need both Jones and Williams. I hope he's okay.

Also, completely agree on MLF. This felt like the first game where you could see a consistent strategy on offense. If you squinted hard in the first half... past the three INTs or the three drives that ended in FGs, you could see it was working. Glad he stuck with it and hope to see 4 more well designed gameplans this year

The Good...

The ENTIRE Defense...Awesome job and effort all night long!

Mike Pettine...Pettine had a hell of a game plan in place. What was the best was Pettine didn't waver a bit later in the game when the Packers were up by 13.

Allen Lazard...He may not have had a ton of yards but he made three maybe four important 3rd down conversions. Not just that...The dude can block too. Just a really good performance from AZ... MORE Lazard please!

The O-Line ... Rodgers had time to throw all night and they picked up the Blitz well the few times Zimmer sent them. They also opened some nice holes in the run game for Jones and Williams. Just a solid game from the O-Line.

The Bad...The Turnovers

The Ugly... Kurt Cousins suit as his presser at the end of the game...Holy Crap!

"Pettine didn't waver a bit later in the game when the Packers were up by 13. "

I was hoping he would stop with the soft zone and three man rush stufff. Sure, you can mix that stuff in. But, Dom Capers proved that stuff doesn't work for a whole quarter or not even a whole drive.

I hope he's done with it for good.

I don't think the Packers offense was bad at all and frankly don't get why you'd call them bad. The turnovers? Yup, that definitely was BAD, but this teams turns the ball over so little I don't see it as a concern.

That's still a pretty good defense in Minnesota and IMO for the most part the TO's stopped the Packers more often than the Vikings.

The Good: Z Smith, Kenny Clark, Kevin King, Aaron Jones, Davante Adams. Also Rashan Gary showed burst strength. Also Bahktiari and Bulaga played very well.

The Bad: Jamal William's was banged up

The ugly: Turnovers. Turnovers, Turnovers. Terrible pick by Rodgers, Davante didn't secure the ball nor did Jones. You typically lose games with 3 turnovers.

The Good, Defense or should I say great! Kevin King timely pick seems to being playing like the guy they had intended. I am a critic of him as soft maybe light has gone on he has unreal talent. ZD Smith what can you say? Clark just a pup turning into stud. They didn't need the bend but don't break idea tonight.

The Bad AR, just seems off Backfoot throws come up short lotta of money for average performance
Not real second WR option that's a threat. Hope they scour college for talent this year.

Ugly , Tackling and turnovers runners still getting free when they look like they are going down, 2-3 extra yards. Ball protection, Jimmy Graham are you trying to shoot your way out of town. Step out of bounds. Hope young TE are watching Sternberger, Tonyan your time is coming

Rodgers was 26/40 (65% completion rate) and should have been about 30-31/40 (75% completion rate without the drops). Yes, the pick was a poor throw but it was Rodgers first interception that did not go off the hands of one of his receivers since 2017 and maybe not since 2016. No one is perfect. In fact I thought Rodgers played very similar to how Bart Starr played back in the Lombardi plays. Perfect throws on key third downs and he let the OL and ground game move the chains. IMO he played very smart football in a huge game and in a very hostile environment. Thanks, Since '61

Good today is great: A great win, a masterful performance by the defense and Z Smith's torture of of the QB.

Bad is Rodgers. He just wasn't on. I hope he get's on for the rest of the year.

The ugly, three turnovers from their best offensive players. Very few teams win with three turnovers. Only when the teams defense dominates. And so too here.

Good: Offensive Line: they handled a very good defense. How many pro-bowlers?
Good: AJones; wow. He (and Oline) took care of a very good Minnepo dline. Breaking off 5-8 yard runs. A few big ones. wow.
Good: D-line: they shredded the Minnepo Oline. A sieve. Made them look like JV squad.
Good: Shaming packer fans, who thought 3 players were sooooooo injury proned. Made of glass. Injury proned. Fragile; Come on, all those fans who trashed KKing, AJones and BBulaga; show some remorse, own up and all will be forgiven. .
Good: ok, secretly saving Graham for the playoffs, right? Er, gooooooood I guess.

Bad: All the pre-season fans who were so damn condemning and so damn sure these players washed up. Next time, give benefit of doubt, and cheer up the players who are experiencing injuries, or slumps. A little loyalty.

Porky,
I was thinking the same thing.
We were led to believe that Jones couldn’t carry the load.
We were led to believe Bulaga would only survive 10 games at the most.
We were led to believe AR & LaF couldn’t get along.
They sure have answered those false accusations!

Spock,
A few weeks ago or so, I read somewhere on this sight (possibly Snap Count) that Bulaga & DBak had snaps at the Guard position. I thought maybe it occurred on ST. Now I know what it is. They have fun with it in the kneel down situations. I sure laughed when I saw it Monday night.

There was so much good.

--Z. That kind of game earns you one letter name ID.
--The rest of the defense. 139 total yards. 7 first downs allowed. Only one drive started in Viking territory and ended in Packer territory--it ended with an interception by King. The only points they allowed were a FG on a drive that started at 1st and goal and an incredible pass/catch over tight coverage on another drive that started in Packer territory.
--Domination at the LoS--Both sides of the ball. On the go ahead TD drive, I was saying to just run on every down for the first time since the heyday of Ahman Green. I almost feel sorry for the Viking o-line. Ok, that's a lie. I hope they have recurring nightmares for the rest of their lives. It will help the economy of Twin Cities psychologists. I'm all about economic growth like that.
--The run game. 184 yards on the ground. Aaron Jones running alone outscored and outgained the entire Viking team.
--2nd half passing. Rodgers was quick releasing to built on the T.o.P advantage they had. It paid dividends with a major contribution to those 184 yards rushing. That was a tired Viking defense.
--The Packers and Badgers both celebrated division wins in Minnesota.

The bad
--1st half passing. Rodgers had a very poor interception and was generally throwing behind guys. In particular the last offensive snap of the first half was a poorly thrown ball that left 4 points on the board.

The ugly
--Ball security. 3 fumbles (2 lost), a muffed punt (recovered by Packers) and a bad interception. Most of the time that will cost you a win, especially on the road. Not this time due to a heroic performance by the defense.

The good being at party in Twin Cities primarily with Viking fans (about 50) and being almost only Packer fan. Certainly most vocal Packer fan and being able to harass them. Amazing watching their faces and hearing their negativity.

Just a fun game!

Our defense was special last night. Maybe most dominant since 1996 season. Just fun to watch. Very very happy for Gutey and LeFleur. Has to be extremely rewarding for Gutey to see the team and players he has added and their impact.

The Good: Aaron Jones, Davante Adams, the OL, Z. Smith, Kenny Clark, Kevin King, MLF, Mike Pettine and yes, Aaron Rodgers. Why Rodgers? He was 26/40 (65% completion rate) and should have been 30-31/40 (75% completion rate) if not for the dropped passes. Yes his pick was a poor throw but it was the first interception that Rodgers has thrown since 2017 that did not go off the hands of one of his receivers. More importantly he made several perfect throws to Lazard and Adams especially on 3rd downs. Also, note great tackling overall by the defense last night and only 2 penalties.

The Bad: 3 turnovers and the aforementioned dropped passes.

The Ugly: The Vikings, their stadium and their fans.

The Glorious: NFC North Champs and a solid chance for a first round bye and even the #1 seed.

This is true!

The Good: team resilience, hanging in there despite three first half turnovers. This game could've been out of reach by halftime, but the offense kept moving the ball and the defense kept jamming it down the Vikings throat.

The Better: the defense playing with a fire and attitude that we've not seen for 8 weeks or more. What we saw was elite play from this unit last night, and one elite unit--if you can keep it up--can carry you a long ways in the playoffs.

The Best: seeing the Bears and Vikes pushed to the wayside in a division where the Packers were supposedly, at best, a second-place team. 6-0 in the North and a bye in reach for a team showing it can play well against good teams on the road. Finish the job.

The Bad: The turnovers & Direct TV had a minor outage...missed the 1st GB drive...with the fumble maybe saved the remote from being tossed around
