The good: AJ Dillon having a bounce back game. Rudy Ford had a good game, that TD he got beat on seemed to be a bad Barry call..if he played it more aggressively it seemed they would just beat him over the top anyway... Any game where the Defense gives up less than 20 points is pretty solid in today's NFL.

The Bad: Christian Watson seemed like he was in pre-season form. His big play was a busted coverage and a solid off script play from Love. His route running caused an interception and he was a no show on contested catches.

The Ugly : Joe Barry letting teams get Preston Smith on guys like JJ and DA... Love's first interception, that was a no look interception.... Love has a lot of things he needs to scratch off his to do list before he starts doing that shit in games, hopefully a gut check, humble pie moment that he learns from.. TE play, specifically the blocking...this is a big one on Brian Gutenkunst too. There is a reason that EVERYBODY says that TE is hard to transition to at the pros and a big part of that is the blocking aspect... I dont think its that big of a jump to connect poor rookie TE blocking to some of the problems this team is having in pass pro and the running game. Finally, pass catching with the game on the line... Ive been preaching patience with the kids on offense against people who want them to just not make mistakes because they happen to be on the field but the argument that "they are out there and they need to perform" is absolutely correct when the game is on the line and the ball hits them in the hands. Thats not on MLF and it is not a "you need to get used to the pros" moment...MLF was calling the right plays when the game was on the line, Love was making the right reads and good throws...and the passes were just dropped...

Good: the bye week to seriously take inventory from top to bottom, FO included
Bad: two bad teams with two bad coaches results in a bad game
Ugly: the worst game of Love’s career

Good:
Just think what Dillon could do if the line opened him a lane, just once....
We got a kicker, that was the news on the pregame. When your kicker's early success is the story you know you are stretching for high points and highlights.

Bad:
I have not yet added JB to my "I want his head" list. But he surly is not giving me any crumbs to remain in his corner.
Will someone get a message to Watson and Dubbs that they were supposed to be in an NFL game yesterday?

Ugly:
MLF sends in a play, many plays have multiple options the QB can utilize. Either A. MLF is in a rut of calling horrible vanilla plays or Love is not selecting the right option to utilize. This is a shit show.
2. Go ahead and try to tell me Love is getting better. 62 QB rating down from 69 the week prior. He is regressing, It shows on his face in the game that his confidence is waning.
3. Even the network picked up what I've been pounding my fist over for 3 straight Weeks. Mid 4th Qtr - stat listed on the TV screen Love was 2 for 7 of his passes longer than 10 yards. The deep threat (we don't have) is one of the worst in the league folks. Anyone can see MLF's long ball calls to the huddle are all but choked off. Raiders knew this pre game as does the rest of the league.

The good ( but not great) would be AJ Dillon effort.
The bad.. another bad team gets well against Green Bay. The Raiders had a depleted secondary that we couldn’t take advantage of, was -9 in turnover ratio and we turned that in their favor, couldn’t run the ball and Jacobs and their offensive line put together two long drives. McDaniels made some poor decisions and Green Bay didn’t take advantage.
The ugly.. We moved up in the draft and had Jordan Love learn from the best, and we’re not seeing positive results.
Also pretty ugly is the fact that this lack of offense is nothing new. The offense was terrible last year, and it’s worse now. 26 first half points this year, one opening drive TD last year. Many of these games seem over before they start. If things don’t improve dramatically ( which is doubtful) I couldn’t make a case to bring MLF back for a sixth season.

Good- Dillion works.
Are Rookie Kicker- A+. !

Bad- Jordan Love

Ugly The OL-
Again we're seeing the Hanson effect.
I'm not unhappy with MLF.
But with Bahk done.
Start the OT shuffle.
If you believe in Love. Protect his back.

Love couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a scoop shovel if he had to. Also it seems at this point after seeing Jones running afound I think he is milking his injury knowing how bad the o line is!

MLF doesn’t have a clue of what to do to “right this ship!”
How many times do we get to listen at press conference how we have to go back and look at the film and figure out what went wrong! NFL defenses have figured MLF OFFENSE …rush 4 drop 7 and watch us beat you up!

Good: Anders Carlson. AJ Dillon. Our Defense played better than they are being given credit for.

Bad: Offensive play calling. There were no plays to get Love into a rhythm. Where were the pass catchers? It seemed all of our receivers were covered--and by third string DBs, too! Musgrave was our best ball catcher but he got next to zero YAC.

Ugly: Love. His worst game of his young career. Growing pains.

The Good: I’m going with a two-fer. Zach Tom’s theatrical spread eagle flop was a thing of beauty drawing a flag from an arms out wth Crosby. Got a good chuckle out of that from an otherwise dismal game.

Also Anders out kicking his older all-pro brother Daniel. Let the family squabble begin.

The Bad and Ugly: we saw it. Not going to rehash it.

PePe Lafleur calls his offensive philosophy "the Illusion of Complexity ". I call it "the Illusion of Competency". Missed blocks, dropped passes, indecision to replace poor performers. PePe keeps sending out this same offensive line despite consistent pressure on the qb, no running lanes for RB's, and recurring holding and false start penalties. The buck stops with the Head Coach.

“PePe Lafleur “ lol. Spot on. He stinks and so does his coaching staff. Not prepared. Cannot adjust. Cannot teach blocking and tackling. Cannot put the right players on the field for specific situations. Sickening that these people (coaches) are in charge. Clean house and start over.

Even AJ got fed up with the OL last night. He got his yardage on his own. Way to go AJ. MLF had better practice & execute precision blocking during the week. Pro or not they need ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!! You practice like you play.
Run plays don't work, so next week MLF changes the run play and they still don't work. Practice & execute, execute during the week until they can run that play in their sleep. Instead, MLF changes the damn run play. Go figure. Totally fed up with the lack of basic, fundamental run blocking & pass blocking too. Sickening.
Anybody up for some violent, aggressive football?

If Love can't get his act together against the Broncos then maybe it's time to sit him and bring in the Clifford. Even though not the most talented QB, he played well in the preseason and would be what you would call a "Gamer". What can you lose? Give Love some motivation and see what we have in our backup QB.
