Good - They did not set the record for the most penalties in a game, which were mostly mental mistakes.

Bad - They tried their hardest to set the record for most penalties in a game.

Ugly - Going down to Dallas next week if they don't clean up the mental mistakes.

Good: The defense for 3 quarters.
Bad: Love continuing to miss easy layups. Love apologists were telling me that some overthrows were intentional to save negative yards but I’m not buying it.

Love’s overthrows were right off the fingertips, intentional ones are five feet over the receiver’s head.
Ugly: Penalties caused by sloppiness and lack of discipline. That isn’t a player problem, it’s a coaching problem.

Agree. Intentional misses to a running back would be at his feet, not over his head where it can land in enemy hands.

Good: Jeff Hafley (Defense played to win)
Matthew Golden (Positive things happen when he touches the ball)

Bad: Jordan Morgan (3 penalties & poor block on the field goal)
Jordan Love (Interception was a factor for the loss)
Blocked winning Field Goal
Offensive Line play (lots of missed assignments)

Ugly: Matt LaFleur (Not having your team ready to play, Play Calling)
Game Management (3rd & 1 at the end of the 3rd quarter? & getting the play in)
Penalties (14 is not winning football)

Hardly d sucked. Missed tackles all over the place, grabbing, holding, no cover skills. How many pens in a row did the d backs have no being able to cover.
The d you saw today is the one going forward. I still have them 8 wins tops no playoffs.

The oline should forfeit their collective paychecks for this game.
The ridiculous INT by Love makes you question game management brain?
…well turn this around next week against the cowboys.
Go Packers!!!

The Good... still thinking about that, The Bad - Penalties, The Ugly - MLF continual inability to adjust quickly on offense (He's no Andy Reid).

LaFleur is an offensive coordinator not a Head Coach.
He said in the interview after the game he doesnt have time to stop thinking about the next play and go up to the offensive line coach and get on thatcoach and offensive line to do a better job. He needs to manage the team during the game and recognise where a kick in the ass is needed. This team needs a motivator not a coach who is a players friend.

An unbelievable loss. Snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. The ugliest game I have seen in many years. What makes it even worse is expectations were so high. After being 2-0 I guess they felt their shit didn't stink. It stank plenty today. In fairness the defense looked good. We needed a better running game. Now we need a better passing game as well. Also, I thought we had finally solved the problem with special teams. Not today! And yes the penalties are just unacceptable.

Good - ?
I can't say the defense was good.
Seriously- 103 yards and 13 points in the fourth quarter.?
Quinshon Judkins ate them up.
Bad- The horror moments continue for Love.
I continue to feel we were sold a bunch of bullshit.
Team confidence starts with the QB.
But-Loves development, continues showing the same flaws.
Ugly- I say penalties.
But when the the zebras are the 12 th man.
The 10 days to prepare were wasted.

"The 10 days to prepare were wasted".
Yeah, 10 days, but it sure as hell didn't look like it!
Maybe that's why the offense and ST's took Sunday off.

Good - Hafley. I repeat from last week. I hope his underlings are learning all they can cause he is going to be a head coach next year.

Bad - Parsons (stop lining up offsides!!!! How much simpler does it get!); Love - not really bad but back to earth. No HOF. But we still need him to do a bit better.

Ugly - MLF. Ok, we had 2 good wins and then this. Which is the real MLF? I'm afraid that's we have - inconsistency and inability to adjust. It's always been that way. The first 2 games made me think he finally got it. Back to being concerned that he'll never get us a SB. And what happened to Bisaccia? Does he not want to coach any more?

The good - the pack helped the Browns out of the hole. So they did achieve something
The Bad - unlike the pack, the bears and vikes looked vastly improved. Williams is starting to come around now and the bears d is gelling.
The Ugly, the simpleton offensive scheme. Cant Love make simple screen passes? Holy crap how much we payin him?
I still believe Love cant mentally handle sophisticated game plans. Pass left pass right, hand off, pass to tight end, one long bomb.

Good: Hafley (He will be gone next year-argh)

Bad: Bisaccia, Bisaccia, Bisaccia. MLF or someone else (Ed Policy?) needs to fire him @ the season's end. Heck, I'll do it.

Ugly: The OL-are these guys good enough? Are they working out enough, hitting the weight rooms, disciplined enough? I don't have much faith in their coach-Butkus, either.
MLF and Butkus need to figure out the OL

Good:
Ahhhh ummmm...
Pre game plate of wings were good

Bad:
**5 sacks and unfortunately 2, 3 or more fall directly on Love. Yes the O line was not firing on all cylinders but Love carries some blame.
**Somebody explain why Golden ran out of bounds when he could have kept running down field?

Ugly:
**As if losing to the Browns isn't ugly enough....
**Love throws the most ridiculous interception.
**It was apparent MLF was scared and does not trust Love's throwing.
**Once again the Packers find a way to play down to a weaker opponent.

Because it was another shitty Love pass. It should have been more inside. One where his receiver is able to catch it and run UPFIELD. Not so far outside his momentum carries him out of bounds.

He (Love) CAN'T throw deep!

Totally agree on the Golden comment. Why did he run out of bounds. Maybe he thought he was saving clock. He actually saved it for the Browns.

Good: Sans one drive, the defense played pretty damn well.
The Packers don't play the Browns defense every week.

Bad: 14 penalties and an exposed O-line against a strong 4 man rush.
Love is a vastly different looking QB when under pressure, and it shows.
But, the reality is, you can say that about most QB's

Ugly: Loves pick, and his refusal to throw the ball away instead of taking a sack for a 13 yard loss.
I'd expect that from a 5th round pick starting his 1st game in the NFL.

Look, the Browns defense so far is no joke, they lead the NFL with only 204 YPG given up. they also lead the NFL in run defense at 57 YPG.
Yes, they exposed the Packers O-line and it was reflective throughout the game.

The bright side is, you'll most likely see a future Packer offense more reflective of the offense you saw against the Lions and the Skins.

If the Packers look this bad against the Cowboys next Sunday night (which i doubt they will), then sure, go ahead and blow a gasket.
But in the meantime.......

R E L A X
*********
Yes, Love's pick was quantified 'bonehead'.
But, if he only throws one pick every 3 games during the season, well hell....i can live with that.

WHEN oh when is Jordan Love going to learn to throw a deep ball, you now a deep ball that his receiver is able to run under?

Last week TWO horrible throws to Golden which were overlooked because the Packet won.

This week he has Golden streaking down the right sideline, his man BEAT, and Love throws it to far outside so when Golden catches it his momentum carries him out of bounds. That should have been a EASY TD. Don't even get me started on the interception.

I can't recall a more disappointing regular season loss.

Rich Bisaccia? What a fucking joke!

Love is rather average...becoming more and more apparent...for one thing he is not a leader on the field...too California cool or something...and then theres MLF...

They say to sleep on a negative message and wait till the next day. Well the sleep sucked last night so you get a grumpy morning post.

The Good: Hafley and the Defense. That effort should have been good enough to win every game. The points on them were pretty much a result of our offense (turnover) and their playing prevent offense trying not to lose the game where they pretty much gassed the D at the end.

The Bad: The O. The Offensive plan (was offensive) and our Prevent Offense, Offensive Line (Morgan especially) and Jordan Love. Jordan does not fight for extra yards when he runs and missed easy lay-up passes that should be automatic.

They Ugly: This game felt like the Seahawks playoff loss. Not in terms of magnitude of course, but of a complete mental breakdown. Matt saying stuff is "on him" means nothing if these types of mental errors continue to rear its ugly head. Either he is too dumb, the players are, or both. Matt appears too busy to lead this team and the number of self-inflicted wounds can not happen with a team with hopes to take the next step.

of course its "on him" because he should either be and offensive coordinator somewhere or hire a good one...once again he did a lot of staring at that play sheet like he does when things go south...mediocre head coach and probably a middle of the road average highly paid QB...

This game was ugly firom first snap. When a broken down Joe Flacco can beat you by three. When he can toss two balls to easily get in fg position after your O did zero blocking on their fg attempt, any thoughts of playoffs rigt now should be put on hold.
All teams hurting can get well playing the pack.
I was shocked at first two wins but either they were a fluke or this game was.

Russell Wilson is about to be replaced by the rookie the 0-3 Giants drafted. How about getting him for almost nothing as the backup to Love and trading Willis for whatever draft pick they can get while they still can, to one of several teams that are desperate for a younger QB? Willis has no future with the Pack.

Bad: OL woes and penalties

Ugly: Love's INT. It changed the complexion of the game. There were no Packer receivers where he threw the ball. WTH?

This O-line needs to be fixed and fast or we are looking at a very disappointing season. It's getting scary jerking Morgan around like a drunk marionette and expecting him to perform well. IMO, Morgan should be given a thousand reps in practice this week at LG and only LG if he's gonna be playing for Banks a lot this season which he likely will be. Give Belton a thousand reps at RT and only RT this week if Tom is gonna be out. Very concerned about terrible run blocking which was supposed to be the hallmark of the line not to mention the sieve that couldn't protect Love in pass pro. This season will absolutely derail if these oline problems aren't adequately addressed.
