More Ugly: Anyone notice the large number of Lions fans in attendance? To add insult to injury, they started chanting Jared Goff's name near the end of the game. This is almost as much of an embarrassment as the game itself. We really need to get back to the home field advantage we used to have a long time ago.

Famous guy once said "to be the man you gotta beat the man" Lions now the men. Packers just aren't there yet, Poor tackling, poor play calling and testicular fortitude is not there, JA how many more big games are you going to take a pass ? Overhyped, overpaid. Need a stud middle LB no question
Good: Josh Jacobs, E Cooper LB makes plays
Bad: J Love poor decision making throw the f in ball away, D Wicks too many drops
Ugly: Penalties reflection of the coaching, zero discipline every week, play someone good and they make you pay. Lions were not worried about coming into Lambeau need to get back that feeling again.

I suppose because ticket sales and resales are so lucrative that it's become Disney like for other teams fans.
But sigh it's definitely not what it should be again.

Good- Josh Jacobs=stud!
Bad-MLF. Team is undisciplined, soft (mentally and physically), play calling is boring, stop taking the ball to start the game
Ugly-Distance between the Packers and the Lions. It's a lot

Agree—we should defer on the KO. I was ok with it in a bad weather game, believing if we score a TD immediately, it’s a big advantage. But we stumbled in the red zone again and it’s becoming too routine.

Amen. IMO he is someone who learned off someone who is wisers foot prints but he himself cant come up with new innovative stuff. I dont think he is that smart, he just mimicks things he learned elsewhere

How many pick sixes has Jordan Love thrown this year? Is he going for some record? Are any coaches getting in his grill? Enough already!!! Turnovers are all too often the difference between a win and a loss, but a pick six is a death wish for the team.

Gman you are so so so correct. I've posted here numberous times that I never could figure why Gutt picked him in the first and gave up a pick too boot for a college QB, playing Div 1a and being an "interception machine". He threw a lot of interceptions but his senior year was his worst, 17 interceptions.
Your right he is heading to break that record this year.

Good-Josh Jacobs. I’ve said it multiple times. The kid is a bona fide workhorse and highly productive and durable.
Bad-Another missed FG. McManus can’t make them all but dang we need consistency at some point from our kicking game.
Ugly-J-Love. Dude needs to make better decisions. Let’s stop this Favre like Gunslinger comparison. They aren’t remotely close in any capacity.

Work horses get burned out 3/4s through the season when a coach beats him to death and refuses to share the runs with other backs.
I noticed Gibbs and Montgomery taking series turns to save both of them a beating.
Jacobs will be done before the end of the season thanks to LeFleur being afraid to use others and giving him big rest in games.

Good ... Rookie Jordan Morgan played well at guard packers ran behind him a lot 1st half
Josh Jacobs ran hard and got some tough yardage
D Whelan once again punted for distance and accuracy in tough conditions
Bad... Jordan love... throwing behind receivers several times ( the ball was wet for Gott also wasn't it) ?
sloppy ball handling in general ...
The receiving corps many dropped passes on poorly thrown but still catchable balls.
Elgton Jenkins , many many low and miss timed center snaps ... did he even practice this week?
Quay Walker ... easily fooled, yes he's a tough guy when he eventually gets to the pile
Kenny Clark ... were is he ? just a total no-show in this big game
Ugly... Jordan Loves, desperation toss for a Lion pic-6 right before half time to give the lions a 17-3 lead. As reminiscent to the Packers
vs Tampa 2021 playoff game when T Brady threw the 40 yard touchdown to S Miller with .01 second left in the first half to
give TB a 21-10 lead.
Matt LaFleur... went with his heart instead of his head in deciding to play an injured pocket passing quarterback over a
quarterback who was healthy can run and throw and was more suited for the weather conditions being played inn.

I'd Trade Jenkins and Walker to the Jets for Wilson.

Not sure i'd agree about Jordan Morgan. But yea, he's a rookie.
Nothing about Preston Smith?
I'm not sure, was he listed inactive this week?
Citing average salaries, i expect more playmaking from Gary and Smith for 37 million dollars a year.
But that's just me 🤷♂️
It's one thing to get payed to be a difference maker, but it's another thing to actually make a difference.

Yea...it's a damn shame, who could have seen that coming? 😎😉
It was a great place back when Monty had it.
Not sure why they haven't had the Memorial yet.
I was going to do the eulogy 😲😏.
Not sure who ya are, but a clue would be cool, Cheese?🤔
I'd have to think there are a handful of is in here now.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

People forget, he almost almost did two pick sixes, the Lions guy dropped the ball of it would have been even worse.

I agree. In retrospect he should have had Malik playing. Campbell does a better job of being aggressive than MLF and that would have been a great time to do it.

The Good- I'm going with Reed.
The bad - Love -
Ugly - Team penalties, and Red Zone play.
The Lions showed you what is wrong .

So who is downvoting a comment that is spot on and also not downvoted elsewhere? Seriously judge the message not the messenger..
Good…hard to find any. Maybe that we didn’t get blown out. Bad…Love, penalties and lack of execution. Coaching. Ugly…. Pretty much everything else. A gigantic Fail on MLF. Why in Curly Lambeau’s name did you roll with a QB recovering from a knee sprain and a groin sprain who had little mobility, little flexibility, and an inability to put his full weight into throws in a game played in crappy conditions where you were the underdog and have a bye coming up. Use your head man…

Down voting is the simple, lazy man's way of conversing.
No thinking involved, no ability needed to do one's own thinking and express their own viewpoints.

Good - I didn't have to sit through this game because I had something I had to do but was planning on catching the full replay after midnight only to find out that there is no replay when it is a live streamed game!
Bad - MLF who once again has shown that he often does not know how to get this team prep'ed. I'll bet even he doesn't know how he did it when Willis played. I have unfortunately been saying this for years - we won't win a SB under MLF. Come on Matt, prove me wrong. It is really starting to bug me when people call him a genius.
Ugly - MLF and the entire Packer management for letting Love play today. Fans deserve to know who made that decision. Did MLF leave it up to Love? The guy with the brains to throw 2 of the worst pick 6's ever.
Uglier - Love's pick 6. Looks like we either have a QB who can't learn from his major mistakes or is already a $55M prima dona and won't learn.
Monday am update. A little calmer but still more mad than disappointed. Hey Nagler, how about the famous 'burn the tape' routine?

Please give Love a chance will you. He had 17 interceptions his senior year and he is trying to break that record. He only has so many games left to do it so give it a rest.

GOOD: The bye week has arrived, and the Packers desperately need it.
BAD: Tom Brady has been able to accomplish a lot of awesome things in his career. Apparently, knowing when to shut up isn’t one of them.
(Bonus comment! Dear Fox Sports: Yes, we know it’s raining. You already told us. We are familiar with rain.)
UGLY: Passes being dropped left, right and center, an insane number of stupid penalties, a horrifically bad pick-six, a missed field goal, shoddy tackling – hmm, I must have missed something – and these are just the self-inflicted wounds. No wonder the Packers outgained the Lions by a huge margin (411 yards to 261) and yet were totally outplayed and overmatched from the beginning.
I don’t understand how Jordan Love is staggering around on one leg as if his other leg is detached from his body, and yet he stays in the game. Either he’s putting on a show to act more injured than he is, or he shouldn’t be in the game. I wonder which one.

As far as dropped passes go, the weather seemed to affect the Packers more, than it did the dome team. Losing in Lambeau, and especially to a division rival, really sucks

Well, no where to run and hide. Guess we will see what this team is made of. I still have faith in them but I am tired of all the talk of our second half of the season last year. Stop living in the past this is a new year. Other teams don't care what we did last year. We are a young team, start learning from the mistakes and focus on this year.

Oh I had to laugh. He said wow the Lions are up by 13 so its still doable for the packers they have time. I thought what the hell am I thinking, then I did the math and no the Lions were up by 18.
A math major he aint.

The Good- It's raining here too so I won't have to water my plants, Punting and kicking game( despite a miss). Jacobs running hard and Reed had a nice game when they threw to him.
The Bad- Love and I don't have to elaborate- we all watched.
The Ugly- all the continued unforced errors, penalties, mistakes- sloppy play continues. They are pros- when will they get it together?

You know the defense held the highest scoring teams offense to only 17 points, that would be good on any day.

The lions realized that they were so far ahead midway thru the 3rd quarter, they didnt need anymore points so they ran ran ran to run the clock out. Hey you only need one more point then opponent to ink a win.

The Lions exposed a lot of what's wrong with the Packers... Defense is still to soft. Packers offensive and defensive lines are average at best. LB play still to weak. And what is Gute doing...? Trading deadline is up tomorrow. There must be some player out there who could help this defense... The only good news is, there is none... Packers have 8 games left to right the wrong.

Agree with you one the soft defense—we need a home wrecker type like Max Crosby. I believed Gary and Van Ness would be it…when will it happen?

I'm late to the party, but to me its ALL ugly! Out played and out coached on both sides!
And when you look at the history, LaFleur and Gutey have had more time than Campbell and Holmes to turn things around, they've done it, we haven't, and that sucks. To me it looks like lack of guts, they make the moves, Gutey doesn't! And then,
WTF was MLF thinking by playing an injured Love against a good Detroit defense in shit weather when you have the bye next week? Willis has been good, and his running ability might have been perfect for the day and the defense. As it stands, his decision making (and maybe accuracy) might be better than Love at present, and his ability to escape would have helped with a sloppy field and receivers that for whatever reason, couldn't catch a cold. Love re-injured his leg, and will now have two weeks instead of three to recover, again!
The play calling was atrocious, on both sides! Three runs when they should have passed, and three passes when they should have run! Success when they blitzed, big chunks when the didn't! Both sides got their asses kicked! You can't blame injuries when Detroit was equally as short-handed.
All-all it was an ass-kicking worse than the score represents and that the entire Packer team deserved. Hopefully Murphy's upcoming replacement will get us back to the Ron Wolf "the Packers are a Football Organization" way of doing things!
Let the Thumbs-down begin!
