Good: Josh Jacobs & Xavier McKinney (Brian Gutekunst must get some credit here)
Bad: The last 3 offensive plays before halftime (Jordan needs to understand the situation better)
Ugly: Christian Watson (still doesn't track the deep ball well)

Watson sure gives us goose bumps one game and then makes us want to throw up in another. Man, he has the tools to be a game changer, but then again.....

This defense scares me, they can't get to the QB, JA and his softness, LB play just not there,
Good: Jacobs hard running, Wilson too, FG kicking pretty good, Kraft very underrated
Bad: D line Rashan when will you show up? has gone from prospect to suspect an old baseball
term. Love and his throws into coverage
Ugly: Pack way with getting opposing offenses to look pretty good.

Good: McManus kicking a 51 yarder - it’s good to see some consistency in the kicking game
Doubs also made some critical catches (before he left the game with concussion).
Better QB pressure from the packers D front - Brooks was both disruptive up front, and hustled (able to recover a fumble)
Bad: Agree re losing Kittle in the red zone. It was Walker that passed him off (to Williams). Not sure about that defensive play calling
Ugly: play calling 3 deep shots to end the half. There was enough time, and timeouts, to move the chains and set up another shot.
Observation - Watson seems to operate better when he has eyes on the throw (slants etc). The catches that he struggles with are those deep, blind shots.

Karl Brooks should be starting.

Additions to the Good: A Van Ness sighting! Also, McKinney with his INT and big return swung the momentum back in our favor. He has a good pair of hands--unlike Quay, who missed an opportunity for an INT of his own.
Also Ugly: Luckily a SF defensive also had poor hands on an ill-advised Love pass; I don't know what he was thinking there.

I wonder if the team could evaluate his eyes as he doesn't seem to have the depth perception to get a sense of where the ball is in space. He has good hands.

Any time we beat the 49ers the way we ripped them today, I just can't think of anything ugly at the moment. We owed them this and I loved it!

Not to be ungrateful FD, I think that the flippant play calling to end the half needs to be addressed. The 49ers were on their heals there. There was 3 or 7 points in the offing and much like a couple of games this year (Lions game comes to mind), erratic, unstructured play calling left points un-scored.

Moot point if Watson hauls in the pass for a TD.

Thanks, Jannes, I had no problem with the shot to Watson - like you said, if he catches it then it's a TD.
However, I did question the deep shot to Melton on the next play. The element of surprise had been lost and there was time on the clock to set something else up.

Good - we played a broken down 9ers team with a QB who hasn't played in three years because he isn't very good. If you can't beat that you shouldn't be playing. Plus your at home.
Bad - pass rush is almost non existant and lefleur is still platings gutts top picks not the guys who are the best.
Ugly- the lack of ability of Love to see the field. Guys are dropping passes because they can go whole games without one thrown to them. Running teams are usually not good passing teams because their is no consistently.
Thursday Miami will expose our weaknesses. I still say LeFleur runs a lot and passes to the out because he doest trust Love.

Packers won 3 games when Love was out, when did Malik Willis last play before this year?

The Good - Josh Jacobs and the Packers OL. McKinney on defense plus 3 Packers takeaways. Strong defense against the run.
The Bad - Watson dropped a sure and easy TD pass.
The Ugly - Doubs suffering a concussion.
Overall a strong game by the Packers. Let's see if they can stack success with a short week against Miami. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

lets hope Doubs passes protocol for the Dolphins...that would be a huge loss if he doesnt

The game is in 4 days. No need to rush Doubs onto the field, if he isn't ready. After Thursday, we get a mini bye. The following game is when I'd expect him back, at the earliest..

The Good . Jacobs running to daylight
Offensive line especially pass blocking WOW
McKinney momentum changing pick
Van Ness great play, a take off point for him
Heath two quick receptions and a TD ... I want to see more of this kid
K Brooks hustle and technique all rolled up in the two year man
The Bad Offensive series before halftime ( count them 3 hero balls ) only one catchable
Gary and Clark I have to agree with T Brady these two guys have to be difference makers
for the Packers to make a Superbowl run right now pedestrian
The Ugly Watson drop ... it was ugly he still seems to be unable to track the ball looking over his shoulder
hands looked uncoordinated fingers not closing on the ball no attempt to dive at the ball after
miss .... Just one big mess

The Good = The Packers Kicking The 49ers Ass On National TV
The Bad = Watson Dropping A Sure TD Pass!
Ugly = Tom Brady..... Anyone Else Find This Guy Annoying?

Good: Josh Jacobs. Love watching him run with the ball. Heath and Kraft had TD catches. Wicks had a nice catch to move the chains. Evan Williams had a huge tackle to stop the Niners on a 4th down play. X had another INT! Van Ness showed up! A HUGE WIN in Lambeau!!!!!
Bad: Christian Watson dropping a long pass. It happens.
Ugly: Concussion for Romeo Doubs. I hope the staff are just being precautionary with him and it isn't as serious as we think it might be.

I'm willing to give Watson a pass on that drop. Slow motion replays showed Watson didn't get both hands out front and in position to make the catch. Instead of it falling into both hands, it bounced off 1 hand and then the other. It was very similar to his drop on his first target vs Minnesota(?).
I played softball from 18 to over 30 league for many years. I was good at catching, playing mostly right field. On one occasion while playing center field, an opponent hit a line drive to the hole between center and right field and just short of the fence. The ball was trailing to the right, had some nasty spin on it. I read it off the bat and got a great jump on the ball. As I was closing in on it, it came faster than I expected and had to contort my body to avoid taking it in my face. I'd done everything right except put my glove up. Doh! (Actually quite embarrassing.) My point is that these things happen on occasion.
Sure, it hurts that both of those drops would have been TDs. But neither one was as important as his diving catch and big run vs da Bears. Go Pack go!

Dark41 there's a reason why they had you in right field .... yuk yuk .. After looking at the Watson flub one more time its hard to believe how he could have dropped that pass and more importantly how will he handle they aftermath ??? I'm not sure how fragile Watson is I don't know him personally But
the Packers should feed him the ball as much as possible on post and crossing routes and just use him as over the top decoys for the time being ... let time and distance be his healing ...
