So'oto Sits Out Practice; Williams Rehabs

The rookie linebacker was back on the sidelines today after practicing yesterday for the first time in nearly two weeks.

Rookie linebacker Vic So'oto practiced yesterday for the first time since hurting his back during a workout over a week ago.

Today, So'oto was back on the sidelines after his back tightened up, according to Mike McCarthy.

McCarthy also had an update on Tramon Williams, saying the veteran cornerback, who once again did not practice, had his rehab workload increased today.

McCarthy indicated yesterday that he would consider playing Williams in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers even if he is unable to practice all week.

C'mon mojo. They didn't say he was out yet. He might still play. Like that little black boy said in the film Angels in the Outfield..."It could happen!!!"

Ya know, there is something to be said for the years prior to all this technology making it so easy to keep up with every bump and bruise which subsequently makes it so easy to pull your god damn hair out... I sometimes envy the folks following Lombardi's Packers, watch your team on sundays and everything in between, well, ignorance is bliss.

If Tramon doesn't practice all week, and he's questionable goin in, do you think McCarthy might be more inclined to sit him against the Panthers rather than a more complete team? Cause I think I would be.

Totally agree Jim. I'd be shocked to see Tramon play on Sunday.

I say: Sit Tramon for the Panthers and let him get healthy for tasks to come. But if he gets through a full practice without setbacks play him.
