Put Up or Shut Up Time For Thompson

Ted Thompson took some time at the annual shareholders meeting yesterday to clear the air about his approach as General Manager and the lack of support he's received from Packer Nation while following said approach.

Look, the man could re-write all five acts of Hamlet with current players substituted for the main characters (one imagines, say, Donald Driver and Greg Jennings as Rosencrantz and Guildenstern), produce it and use it as a dramatic teaching tool for Packer fans everywhere as a look into the damage that indecision can do for a pro football franchise (see: not giving up a 4th round pick for Randy Moss) and all those words would mean as much as the blather he treated stockholders to on Wednesday.

The truth of the matter is this - This team doesn't just want to win, now. It has to win, NOW.

Any perceived step back and the cries for Thompson's head, both from the fans and the media, will be too loud for Harlan (or whomever) to ignore.
