I hope to see our offense run through #8 and 85, with the RB and TE rooms too. This leaves less room for WRs especially early in the season. #0 in "the MVS role" means you throw deep to him when there's broken coverage, teaching opposing defenses that they have to (TRY!) to cover him. Somehow. (Good luck with that)
That removes bodies from covering somewhere else, and Doubs as an intermediate range target makes too much sense considering his connection with JL10. #88 is also good out to about 30 yards. That still leaves at least 3 viable targets in the quick release game (#85 and 2 RBs)
Deep shots to our Golden Bullet sprinkled in with a power offense featuring #8 honey badger hunting and stiff arming everybody into the fifth row seems like winning strategy to me, which could include a personnel package with 6 O linemen 2 TEs and 2RBs.
On defense I hope to see the exact opposite strategy, going for broke with 6 or 7 players rattling Goff's cage early. How many plays do we really need Micah Parsons to make? Just win his rush immediately as per his usual and Detroit is effectively without a QB for the rest of the game.
Our run defense will be tested no matter what we do ...
