#PackersDaily: Stop your internal dialogue. He's the MVP.

Aaron chats with Packers fans worldwide as the team returns to the practice field to prepare for their final regular season game in Detroit.

I guess Hub thinks it should be the Most Vaccinated Player award.

Q: If that’s Arkush’s point, why isn’t he criticizing Rodgers’ fellow meatheads Cousins or Wentz or Beasley or Theilen etc?
A: Because it’s not his point. Those guys didn’t lie.

Save your breath with the absurd “it wasn’t a lie” arguments. My immunization record is a list of vaccinations. Rodgers lied and knew he was lying. Now he’s he’s trying to avoid responsibility for lying. Not a good look.

The wise thing to do would have been to keep his mouth shut. Once again Rodgers shows himself to be less clever than he. thinks he is.

BTW, MVP is a consolation prize for guys who don’t win Lombardis. Rodgers has enough of those already.

You completely missed the point. It’s not about Rodgers here, it’s about Arkush. Arkush really stepped in it with these ill thought out comments. He has devalued the MVP award. Now people are questioning the integrity of the voters. I believe the voters, probably vast majority, are doing their best to make a fair assessment. However, thanks to Arkush’s arrogance, detractors will say that the Social Media backlash was the reason Rodgers did or did not win it, depending on who they feel most deserved the award. It generates a negative controversy that only hurts the award process. This guy Arkush should lose his vote this year, and be barred from future voting. The AP needs to tighten up its guidance to its voters and have them agree to that guidance IN WRITING, and establish sanctions on those who violate their standards if they want to restore credibility to the award.

Hubs is responding to Rodgers false narratives about Covid with this own false narratives about Rodgers MVP status because he apparently thinks two wrongs make a right.

Nags, a good question for Rodgers would be to ask about 2011 when he sat the finale and then had a stinker versus the Giants in the divisional round. I believe he later said something like, "I'll never do that again" (re: sitting the last game).

Think about it!

Comments from old football fossils - like Hub - really make any awards decided by "unbiased writers" a joke! Yes, I understand their involvement in these awards give more PR to the NFL bandwagon. But when one - or maybe many - of these voters has no sense of the criteria for making such decisions, its time to start handing out the pink slips to these supposed "learned football influencers".

I wonder what other non-football criteria great, great, grandpa Hub will decide are critical reasons for awarding his vote for MVP? Facial hair, long hair, vaccination status? Or maybe its team oriented? Or maybe its the annual pastings the Packets apply to the Bears over the last few years? Rodgers "love" for Hubs' sacred - but poor - Chicago Bears?

His "apology for thinking out loud" is irrelevant now. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Like a juror that blabs to media before a verdict, old Hub should be taken off this jury.

What’s with all the comments about Arkush’s age? What does that have to with his tiff with Rodgers?

I guess if you’re 12 years old and never saw Montana, Marino or even Favre to say nothing of Johnny Unitas or Bart Starr you might think Rodgers is the only good quarterback ever & therefore beyond reproach for anything at all. So maybe age does have something to do with it.

Did you get that homework done yet, son?

I own you. I OWN YOU. (The Bears, especially old man Hub should know what happens by now when Rodgers gets to put on a bigger chip on his shoulder) I OWN YOU... hehehehehe. Never gets old.

I think Jonathan Taylor is the MVP but we all know that MVP stands for Most Valuable Quarterback and no non-QB can win these days.

I'm LMAO reading all these Rodgers fans and/or anti-vaxxers commenting on every site possible ranting about Arkush and his stance thereby driving up the media hits and ensuring that this guy can go on all the talk shows and write a book and make a shitload of dough from his 15 minutes of fame. Good work, people! To paraphrase Liberace, I'm sure he will be crying all the way to the bank or, to use a 2022 equivalent, checks his balance on his Iphone app.

In my view it is patently clear Ar-Crushed bias has nothing to do with vaccinations. He is Anti-ARod because his Bears have been getting stomped by the Packers for 25 years. He uses the vaccination disharmony as an argument against ARod because he knows it is a highly inflammatory and polarizing topic—-nothing to do with one’s skill as a football player. This is despicable conduct by Arkush imo.

It seems with voters for MVP and Political offices have come down to opinion and politics, not the person and their values as to what they can accomplish based on what they do or are running for! If that is the case what a shame and sham they have become!
