The Packers bolstered their defensive front with the selection of Lukas Van Ness, who should be able to play up and down the line. His addition should keep the heat up on opposing quarterbacks.

The TJ Watt route would be great, but I'd prefer to see them use him more as a true linebacker, more like somewhere between Z or Matthews and... Ted Hendricks or Fred Carr from back in the day. He's fast and can reach all over the place.

Aaron, when a player is drafted and they have the mini camp do the coaches (specifically strength and conditioning) instruct players what they want them working on? For example, maybe they want Karl Brooks to drop weight and gain strength as more of a pass rusher? The conditioning approach should be different, I would think. Just curious how this is communicated to players during the off-season.
