Hey Aaron can you look at the Packers last 10 first round drat picks and rate them? I know Love and Gary are still question marks but lets rate the rest of the bunch and who picked them!
Thanks
Steve

Well, I'm not Aaron and I'm not going to rate rate them, but here's a listing of the last first round picks for the Packers and who was GM at the time (with TT's deteriorating health late in his career, I have no idea who was making decisions during those years);
2020- Jordan Love
2019- Rashan Gary
2018- Jaire Alexander
Gutekunst became GM in 2018
2017- Kevin King (technically a 2nd round pick, but the Packers first pick in the draft)
2016- Kenny Clark
2015- Damarious Randle
2014- Ha Ha Clinton Dix
2013- Datone Jones
2012- Nick Perry
2011- Derek Sherrod
2010- Bryan Bulaga
Picks made during Ted Thompson's GM career

I really hope Pack gets some help on D almost anywhere you look opportunities for improvement are needed ..badly! If they are serious about a SB run .. our D can't hold up .. If it means a draft pick so be it .. plus ,look at all practice squads

Agree, still don’t understand why Gute didn’t address our run D in the draft,FA or trade. Hoping he can come up with some upgrade soon. Even with Clark, our run D is very suspect. On a more positive note, glad to see Sternberger grab a couple. Should be a big confidence boost for him.

The money went to Kenny. The draft was weak at Dline. 2019 was the year of the D line standouts, but BG went with Gary which was the better decision. A guy who will be multiple when he puts it all together.

It's hard because we're watching separate feeds. But will try to get a bit more of it in there. Mostly though, I'm a fan watching the game and I like it that way.

For the fan who asked about Rashan Gary. Looks like he got rolled up a bit in the 2nd Quarter. (Ankle) Looks like he was taped up later in the quarter but he was hobbled. So he did come back in the game. Never really mentioned during the broadcast.

If Capers was still coaching this game would have been lost. Pettine is playing with pieces given. We ALL knew after last year that our secondary is good, LB play was ok, Clark is awesome but he is one person. The run D was exposed a bit last year and the logical thing was to Draft a DL because in my opinion there wasn't even enough DL to rotate properly . Inevitably ,Clark or whomever is lined up over center is going to need a breather. Preston and Z are Edge rushers....period. Gary is an edge rusher. These are not guys that you can line up over center for 4 quarters. The D is doing enough right now, but they need Clark back. KeKe stepping up is a surprise
