I understand people that have no interest in the cap (or for that matter the draft) which will both take many months to clarify.

Equally, there are many of us (me included) who are very interested in these things, despite them being months away from being resolved. Speculation on such things is part of what makes it interesting when you follow the Packers on a day-by-day basis.
