OMG! NO! It seems that "necessary change" are 2 words not in the vocabulary of the Packers. I thought Murphy was the root of this problem but it seems this sickness has made it down to its HC and coordinators. Like Rodgers before this last Lions game, I have reserved judgement on the LaFleur because of the idiotic reporting structure that exists in GB. But "et tu" Matt? You want to keep a DC that absolutely is the joke of the NFL and which I am SURE no other team would hire? And you want to keep an over the hill, egoistical QB who just isn't motivated to win/lead his team? Is this an edict from Murphy or are you truly, deep down, this delusional?

At least, MLF realizes that "maybe" he shouldn't be calling plays any more, thank god. Whether he actually does it, who knows? And at least bringing Hackett back would help this poorly coached offense.

Wow! I am monstrously disappointed in these initial MLF thoughts after that ridiculous Lions game. This team has some great talent and does not have to be rebuilt from the ground up. But it has specific weaknesses that are known throughout the league. Denial is not a river in Egypt Mr LaFleur! If you let Barry and Rodgers remain and this team fails to make the playoffs again with the talent that exists, you should royally FIRED!

I can not rationally accept anything less than MLFs firing. To ignore the way this team prepared and played in the playoffs under MLF is the definition of stupidity. What more is there to see. Even with Rodgers insolence there is no excuse for losing all of those game. That is what professional coaches who are leaders bring to the table.

I agree 100%. His resume includes two blown #1 seeds, and three crushing season ending home losses.
Quay Walker is a microcosm of his ability to be a leader on the sidelines. It looked to me like he was going to leave Walker in the game until the refs tossed him.
No excuse. The franchise has not been this embarrassed since the meltdown in Seattle.
We don’t have Kevin King to blame anymore.

And I agree 100%. After reading your post I thought back to his sideline reaction and he was so frozen which can only be because he doesn't know what to do. It's screamed no instincts and a leader without instincts is useless. His lack of true experience was exposed. So as I write this my first thought is does anyone think a real football coach like say Andy Reid would have handled it that way? Doe the Board?

Well you have to do something, Otherwise your telling everyone an 8-9 season is acceptable... There are so many changes that need to take place with this team starting with the front office exec's, some coaches and players. Standing pat is not the answer. I expect to see many changes over the next two months. 3rd place in the NFC north is an embarrassment. IMO start with replacing the GM...

I'd take anything that is being said by Matt or anyone else for that matter with a grain of salt. I am pretty sure Matt is not going to tell the media he is going to fire anyone even if that may be the case. This is media generating clicks as what answer were they honestly expecting? They likely already had the article written before the question was asked to stir up an already embittered fan base.

Lets hope you're right. I'm not a fan of Barry at all, but if Murphy isn't going to fire MaLF, someone has to be the fall guy, so I guess Barry is the obvious choice. If Barry doesn't get fired, I'm not sure if MaLF can hold this team together. If it wasn't for AR12, MaLF would've already went the way of Hackett...

Lefleur now has a new name from me Mindless Twit. MT has no authoriry to get rid of anyone anyways, that is the Gm's job on this team.
You get rid of Joe you stain the image of Murphy and Gutt who wanted Joe because he was with the org years ago and god you cant do anything to that fn legacy.
Its best if fans just kiss next year goodbye, there will be no run to the playoffs, this team will be eliminated by game 7.

We don't need to turn the corner with a new QB.
Lombardi taught Fundamentals, and Ball security.
And thats what hasn't shown up the last 3 years.
You won't need to look any further than that.
The Lions showed it. and Goeff has confirmed it.

I think MLF is delusional. Barry needs to go. There is some serious talent on that side of the ball. The mediocre performance by the group this year and those two stupid penalties late in a close game prove the guys out there arent properly coached, and they dont respect Barry. Rodgers inaability to protect the ball this year goes back to injuries on the o line this year, the inconsistent running game, rookie wide outs, and no vet receiver to stretch the field Rodgers in 2019, 2020, and 2021 threw a total of 13 picks. this season, he threw twelve In that same time period, he had 11 fumbles, this year he had 8. for his career he has averaged under 200 yards per season in sack yardage, that number was 260 this season,. his rushing yardage is down by 2/3 from 2018, under 100 yards rushing in a 17 game season as opposed to a 16 game season prior to this year. Very simple, Rodgers is less mobile, so o line must protect and rush block better the running backs have to live up to billing, and the wide outs must get better in their routes, and improve on the number of dropped passes . This was a sub 500 team....there is no one from the front office brass on down who should think their job is safe, rightfully sol GO PACK GO

If MLF has an offensive scheme, but we haven't truly seen it yet, because of one Aaron Rodgers. Then we have a weak HC and an unmanageable QB. One of them needs to go to find out. Playing Jordan Love while Rodgers was nursing a broken thumb would have been a smart move to determine how great an offensive mind MLF is. A young Love would have played within the MLF system.

Watching Love play in Philly....if....I had any doubt about his ability he sold me. He appears to have the necessary intangibles to be a very good QB in the NFL. However, in watching Love play the one intangible that stood out to me the most was the contrast between his style and Rodgers. Rodgers holds onto the ball forever playing hero ball, while Love plays within the system and throws on time & in rhythm while making his progressions. Seeing those quick releases was refreshing from the constant helter skelter style of Rodgers.

This reminds me of Kevin King.. he would get burned on 3rd and 17 in an important game , yet celebrate after making a routine tackle in a meaningless game when the Packers were up by 14… yet they kept trotting him out there until a championship was lost.
We are now drafting idiots like QW, and supporting terrible coaches like Joe Barry. It’s like Mo Drayton syndrome.. Drayton was fired 10 weeks too late.
We have salary cap hell, a GM that moves up in the draft for a guy on the bench for three years and a team president that thinks it’s best to stay the course.
We are becoming the Bears. Who would probably have won the game six weeks ago if they were healthy.
Older fans have seen this before in the pre salary cap days. I see a bleak future as long as MURPHY/Gutekunst and MLF are in charge.

I really don't know what MLF is doing,..
As far as big important games go. We are so flat, confused, lost..the whole game,,halftime adjustments ? None ? Looks like the same 8 offensive plays every game. Hurry up offense? Lol ,maybe with 59 seconds left in game
The team has gotten worse. Keeping Barry isn't go too help.lol I wish I could talk to that headset during a game. ...
Very disappointed, especially, nothing is changing

Given the dysfunction in the front office and coaching staff, these have to be the new regular season uniforms for 2023:

I don't want these idiots (not referring to the players here) sullying the green and gold anymore.

I think the real reason none of the Packers management does anything about any problems they have is they don't want hurt anyone's feelings. In other words they're WOKE!!
