OK OK. Don't fire him yet. Just take his badge away - and don't let him into the stadium.

Why don’t you produce a video with some content, rather than pissing and moaning?

So the real story should be: The Packers organization doesn’t care if they made the playoffs this year. Keeping Joe Barry until January was more important than playing in a wildcard game in January.
It was all there in front of them. The NYG game should have been his last.. and look what happened since.
But, look at the byproduct.. MLF, a questionable HC at best has shown his true colors and come to a total disaster of a DCs defense.
And … the GM sits there doing nothing. Something is rotten in Denmark if making the playoffs is not your ultimate goal. I am sure many of the veteran players know this entire staff is not up to the rigors of winning in the NFL. The Packers staff is soft and stupid. Just like anyone that can’t see what is painfully obvious.

Been saying this for years regardless of the record in an incredibly weak division, forever. They have been steadily losing talent for at least 5 years while acquiring zero other than tag sale surprises. Arod was so over the top he was able to compensate with a very small amount of weapons and achieve an NFC North Trophy for years but the minute the Playoffs rolled around they were totally exposed - at Lambeau or not. Only in sports could this land development executive staff exist - zero accountability. This year Joe Barry will be the sacrificial lamb, hate to say people there is a heck of a lot more that needs to be changed in this organization - a complete mindset change and people higher up the food chain. At least we have 1 bright spot and that seems to be the toughest to solve - a franchise QB. Kudos for that once in a generation right move, it is useless without an aggressive mindset and talent elsewhere on both sides of the ball. How many 1st round misses have there been on defense, how many free agent complimentary pieces have been acquired ? Remember guys named Charles Woodson, Reggie White, Sean Jones, Keith Jackson, Desmond Howard, Don Beebe, Ryan Grant etc, what have we done lately ? C'mon guys - go get a Trophy named after YOUR Head Coach !!

We all know flower Matt won't fire the Bumbler this season, especially with him blaming the offense for Barry's ineptitude. We're worried he'll keep him on for the next season...

Aaron,
Okay, Okay, I get the point, why bother talking about it when the deed has already been done and it won't change before the end of the season. But from what I hear, you haven't been paying attention, or maybe you're another one of those "the Packers can do no wrong" fans. I'm a bit baffled.
For starters, who do you think you're talking to? We, those us here on CheeseheadTV, are not the 49ers' wine and cheese crowd that only support their team in winning seasons and disappear when they're not. How often have you seen half-full Lambeau Field like we saw several times over the past weekend in other stadiums? We're all dyed in the wool, lifelong Packer fans, we know football, you can try but you can't bullshit us. You sound like LaFleur when you try that angle, and it won't work.
Whatever! But since you haven't noticed, for some time now many of us have changed our tunes, and many of us HAVE moved on to other subjects. Subjects such as:
FIRE MARK MURPHY; the guy that created this mess by tearing down Bob Harlan's "Hire a Football Man to run the Football operations, and leave him alone" system. He pulled off his dictatorial power grab, and then ignored the team by playing Real Estate Mogul and castrating the GM position down to one of a 'Yes Man".
FIRE MATT LaFLEUR: While this one's been around for a while it has taken on more prominence since 'LaFlake' threw his players under the bus for Barry's incompetence, and again now for 'Scoring too fast'. He's lost all credibility (if he ever had any) and can no longer be trusted by his players or us, the fans. He's never demonstrated any real Head Coaching abilities or prowess, and his buddy Barry is more important to him than the job he was hired to do. So fine, Fire him! We're tired of his bullshit insults to fans that know better.
FIRE GUTEY: While I may have softened a bit on Gutey due to the last two rookie crops, maybe, but now he should go just for NOT blowing a gasket when LaFlake threw HIS players under the bus. Gutey drafted them, they're his players too and he shouldn't be happy about it, but what have we heard? Crickets!
FIRE RUSS BALL: Murphy's Partner In Crime that helped put us in Salary Cap Hell. I include him just for good measure, he knew better, he's just another Yes Man.
I don't think I'm alone in believing it's time for a real house cleaning.
Fire Joe Barry!

I get that his contract is running out and it’s the end of the season and all that, but there is an important opportunity here to send an accountability message to the rest of the coaching staff, players and fans. GROW A PAIR! This matters a lot more than any reasons that have been given.
