Step 1 : Ban Royce Newman from ever entering the city of Green Bay.
Step 2 : Give Jake Hanson and a #7 draft pick to the Bears just to be rid of him.
Step 3 : Strongly chastise whoever decided to play Newman and Jake Hanson while Zach Tom and Yosh just sat.
Step 4 : Unrelated to O line, but why couldn't a coach have seen what we all knew: Amari was really hurting this team and the move to somebody else should have been made 2 months earlier.

Why is this staff so slow to make changes. dblbogey everything you said is exactly right. Hansen isn't even a NFL caliber player. It also took forever and an injury to get lowery off the field. Four active D Lineman for the lions game is also crazy. Amari Rodgers was another joke. Joe barry will be the demise of MLF and the Packers next year.

Nagler you said without a good offensive line you don't have anything. No O Line is worse then the Bengals yet they are playing again this weekend. A real good O Line is great but this years blame is on Rodgers and MLF and his play calling.

The Bengals aren't the Packers. Thanks to coming to my Ted Talk.

I would say give a line (from left to right) of Tom, Jenkins, Myers, Runyan, and Nijman at least one year. Tom can bulk up in the offseason, and who knows, Myers may take a leap. In my opinion, best to give it a go next year, and if any one does badly, we can draft replacements in 2024.

PFF ranked the Packers' offensive line as the 3rd best in the NFL for 2022-23. Imagine what Zach Tom can do when he bulks up, I think he only allowed 7 or so pressures on about 180 pass blocking snaps.

There are more pressing needs for the Packers in 2023 than the offensive line.

Maybe TE but we absolutely need a couple of more OL. Preferably large, quick and mean for a change.

Yeah, the offensive line looks fine. Until we get people hurt, and then we have Newman and Hanson and Caleb Jones starting for us.

PC500...IMO, it all starts with the offense, and offense starts with getting people blocked. The best teams that are still alive in the NFC....Eagles, Cowboys, 49ers....were #1,2, and #4 in the Conference Even the Giants....whose season is about to end....were 16th in the NFL in scoring. At the end of the day, on Championship Sunday, it's going to be two very good offenses battling it out for the trip to the Super Bowl. The Commanders and Saints...both Top 10 scoring defenses....aren't at the party.

The offense is most important, and that's why the most important position is on offense, and that's why he makes so much money. Even an average defense will keep you in the game and give your offense a chance to win it, so that's where it starts. Hog the ball. Stay on the field. Get some points. You usually have about 10 or 11 possessions, and if you score on half of them, you're in most games. If you get TDs instead of FGs, you'll win just about all of them.

We dress out 21 offensive players: Two QBs, 9 Offensive Linemen, and 10 Skill position players. We play 5 linemen and 5 skill position guys at a time.

The Packers offense, under LaFleur, has featured Rodgers, Jones, and Adams. Adams is gone, and we need some new featured players, like Love, Watson, and a new guy or two. And we should also improve the depth on the offensive line unless we want Hanson and Newman and Caleb lining up for us in a must-win game.

My general belief is that you should use your first round draft pick for a franchise QB, or a defensive stud, or you should trade down and get more picks in the Top 120 or so. If we made even a few small moves, we could end up with 6 or more picks in that group. That's a defensive stud, then a TE, WR, OL, ..... You also have the Packers history of not spending the top pick on a Skill position player in the last 20 years (Javon Walker, 2002) to consider.

Fortunately, TE class looks deep, and we've had good success getting WRs on Day Two as well. We can absolutely add some punch. We should load up the offense this draft. Right now, it's Watson, Dillon, Deguara, Doubs, Toure all coming back. That leaves room for 5 more, including Jones' replacement and some help at TE.

We dress 9 Oline guys, and as surely as Ann Wilson can sing “Alone”, that #9 guy at the start of the season is starting for us in our last game of the season..

If you assume we keep Bakhtiari and Nijman, Jenkins, Runyan and Tom would round out a good starting 5. But the guys who’ll probably finish the season would include Myers, Newman, Hanson, Rhyan, , Jones, Walker. I’m not as confident in these guys, and I’d like to see some better choices there.

Regardless of who our QB is, or who our weapons are, they’re going to play better if guys are getting blocked.

We have two O linemen at 6'9" who haven't played a single down, and countless times when they ended the drive by going for 30 yards + on third and short. Bring the big boys in on guard, give the ball to Quadzilla and PUSH. But no, MLF will not adjust, even when nothing works. Could have film on these guys and be developing them. Instead, nobody knows if they can even stand up in this league.
