I'm very glad to see you say to ignore this early release of a depth chart. Some have said that TC is over; it's not, they're staying where there's a practice field on premises. Regardless what's released as their schedule, that's just what's open to the public and they'll still be breathing football non-stop and maybe more focused out of town.
Still, there are some interesting observations:
getting this DC away from the players has to be a good thing IMHO. I'd prefer more distance but if he has a better view of the field maybe he'll make in-game adjustments better? Maybe the plan is to make Rich Bisaccia higher on the organizational chart? I was certainly hoping for that with his promotion to assistant HC and I know I'm not alone.
CB depth "just so happens" to exactly match player weight, with the lightest on third string etc. Stokes isn't on it even though he was on the field for the first (half) padded practice, doing solo drills. He was working hard, too. Contrast that to #52 Gary being first on the depth chart in the same circumstances a week later and yes, I'll easily conclude this is pretty meaningless.
S also "just so happens" to align almost exactly with 40 time, the big exception being Moore who hopes to have his pre-injury speed back but may not.
I don't think final cuts are predicted by this depth chart, if they were then Tucker Kraft would be in danger and I don't think he is.
I fully expect position battles and TC to continue until final cuts are made. I love the competition, intensity, and comraderie I'm seeing out of our team this year!

When engaging with Packers fans worldwide, it's perfectly fine to acknowledge Aaron Rodgers' statement and discuss the depth chart's unofficial nature. However, it can still be interesting to explore potential storylines, player developments, and positional battles based on the initial depth chart. It's important to approach the topic with an open mind and consider it as a fluid representation of the team's current evaluation.
