Aaron, I really appreciate all the content. The increase of the various content is pure gold for a football junkie.

I do have a question though. Yesterday on Transplants you didn’t seem thrilled with the then potential Jaylon Smith acquisition. You felt he might be “completely washed” and thought you might be happy if this was one move Gute “didn’t make”.

Today on Packers Daily you seem to change that opinion a bit even getting on fans who were being negative on Twitter. No problem with changing your perspective on the player but is it something you heard about how they might use him that seemed to change your mind? I don’t think Smith is a star but I do like the number of plays and depth he brings.

The duality of man. I can think he's not a very good player anymore (and I don't) but still think said player can have value, because all players do. There's a lot of variables in the game of football and you never know how certain ones lining up (coaching, scheme, teammates) might help a player produce at a higher level. My opinion on a player is different than analyzing why the move was made.

Thanks Aaron. I do like the fact that when Smith plays he makes tackles. Teaming him with Campbell and possibly Barnes I think could really fit nicely with what the Packers are trying to do on defense. I think you hit the nail on the head with “scheme”. Looking forward to seeing him when he gets on the field and how they might use his talents.
