Nothing wrong with being on the practice squad - 12K a week with full health benefits with a chance to make the 53 at some point if needed. Sounds like a win win to me. Disagree with the Levitt kid making the 53, the 49ers exposed his weakness (slow). I guess he played for the ST coach when he was a Raider. Packers still need a TE and a physical aggressive corner/safety. Special teams better show up against the Vikings. GPG

Levitt's safety and special teams grades are all hot garbage this preseason and last year. Apparently being a rah rah guy is a big factor in getting a spot on the roster for Rich's ST because production history certainly isn't. Questionable to say the least. Gross

The Winfree cut didn't surprise me. Question marks: Leavitt, Wilborn, Davis, Hanson.= All 4 to the PS.
Note. - Was there a trade rumbling for Jenkins. Holding him out of practice. And your comment of Sitton had me wondering.

Not any real surprises to me other than Ford over Heflin/Slayton. The coaches see and know way more than us fans, and I am happy with the final 53. I doubt if any released player gets picked up other than Goodson. Packers could try out a player or two since the Vikings game is not until the 11th.
