Aaron chats with Packers fans worldwide after the league informs teams that the salary cap will officially fall for the first time after a decade of growth.

If the number $182.5 is accurate, the according to Spotrac we're only a couple of million over. We don't have to blow any more holes in the lineup to make ends meet.

Bolster the offensive line so that Rodgers and Dillon will have good years.
Put guys in the secondary who can tackle, cover , and run.
Put a mountain on the DL to help Clark for the next four years. A really big guy that can help on first down and in short yardage.. Gilbert sized. Fat Adams size. Hali Ngota size.
Get a horse in case Dillon gets hurt.

We don't need costly FAs. Use the draft to add what we need. This could be the strongest roster ever.

Remember they also have to make room for this year's draft choices and some cap room for injury replacement during the season on top of "just getting under the cap".

$9..4M over. Needs to be found in 7 days.
$10M more for draft,PS, 52nd/53rd/operating cushion.
$???? more to actually retain current talent ERFAS, RFAS, UFAs.

Lots of work to do.

I must have misread/misremembered. Spotrac does show us at about $9 million over. We are going to have to let some starters go. Not the best way to start a race for The Trophy.

Drat.

Sigh. Probably so and probably looking at two elite guys in Linsley and Jones, and of course, Wagner, who might have been the best backup OT GB has had since Bulaga was sitting on the bench as a first-round rookie.

A lot of other good teams will lose some players. Those players are going to stay in the league even if they make less money. Likely we will see more parity.

Nags- Would you consider replacing your intro/exo music with something from the Yes Songs album?

It seems if they cut me a check for 0.5 million it would be a simpler number and less math for all involved to deal with. Just trying to help.

Done hear much about re structuring contracts. Many teams are doing that to clear space so they can keep people. Seems the pack is just saying cant afford you goodbye. Cheap ball plain and simple

Be patient, as they have until the 17th. You are not going to hear humors about who is restructuring or cut until its done. They have to get under the cap and have money for draft choices, so it will happen in the next week.
