Packers Question of the Day: Expectations for Sunday

For the sixth time in the last five seasons, including playoffs, the Green Bay Packers will get a chance to once again defeat the Dallas Cowboys on their home turf for the second time in nine months.

What are your expectations for Sunday?

I expect the defense to hold better than the last two games against Dallas. I also expect an Aaron Jones breakout party and Geronimo to have a big game.

I also expect to drink at least 4 beers during the game.

I expect this to be a good tougher game, but ultimately the Packers will show what they are capable of.

I am expecting to see Bakhtiari and Bulaga back which will mean we will start seeing the offense that we are accustomed to.
I think Bennett will have his biggest game as a Packer.

I also think Aaron Jones will see a lot of playing time. I think he will show off why many of us are very high on him.

I think the Packers win this game by 13+ points.

I agree, RCPF, and I think that GB even surviving the first 4 games with a winning record while letting our second and third stringers earn some valuable playing time is only going to help us later in the season. I think most of us fans are breathing a little easier knowing we have (somewhat) qualified help in the event another lineman goes down.

I expect a healthy defense to shine more light on who they will/can be towards the end of the year. I also expect the offense to keep some of this short passing game alive and moving the chains, controlling the clock, keeping Zeke off the field by virtue of forcing them to score and do it quickly or fall behind.

My expectation...

Lots of the aforementioned PAIN!

Aaron looks like a killer. both Jones and Rodgers.

Bakh and Bulaga still in limbo...

Jordy explodes and Cobb is steady.

Dial me up a DL of dominance, Kenny will not get killed and Dean shows up.

Josh Jones picks zak and Blake gets double digit tackles.

Mashed potato mike has historically been pretty good with a game plan after extra time to prepare, so lets see what he's got.

Packers actually cruise to a victory this week.

Should the injured Packers all play I expect GB to win; Won't be easy but I expect QB1 to have a good game and yes I expect Aaron Jones to show his stuff; don't sleep on Cobb or Kendricks this could be the game where 84 finally gets to show his seam route !

I am hoping Daniels and Clark make it very difficult to run inside as I feel Perry, Matthews and Brooks will clog up the outside running lanes!

I fully expect to be throwing crap at my TV after Jerry's Kids get some "home cookin'" calls from the refs.

I just thought of something... if they run I-Form then it will be Aaron, Aaron, Aaron in the formation.

Interestingly enough, in the long and storied history of the Packers, we have had a grand total of eight players named Aaron. And three of them are on the team right now.

I think the Packers will win. I am having a hard time calling this game base on the injuries of both teams. Frankly, which team is 'healthier' should win, but this years edition of the Packers has shown themselves to be a really stout bunch. Besides, I hate Jerry Jones. That's all the reason I need to pick Green Bay.

After the Packers get hosed for the 3rd time by blatant homer calls and the camera cuts to a shot of Jerry for the 348th time, I will get pissed and go rake the lawn as an alternative to destroying the big-screen. If Vegas had a line for that you could bank on it.

I truly believe this game is going to come down to big plays on special teams and turn overs. Both offenses are efficient in different ways and should be able to move the ball. The team with the least amount of mistakes wins this. Pack 28 -24.

I expect victory. Stop the run and get out to a 10+ point lead. That will force Dak to throw which he is not effective at. MM if you win the toss do not defer. Take the ball, get a score, stabilize the game and take the crowd out of it. Our team is better now than the team which won the playoff game in Dallas last season so we should be able to repeat against a Dallas team with its own injury problems. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61
