Gary’s injury a couple of years ago had a dramatic effect on his production. He looked and was much slower There is no reason to believe this next year will be any different than the previous two. Especially at that salary. Any savings will be a plus.

Gary, as disappointing as he was/is for the 12th pick, he's still a slightly above average edge rusher, always has been.
I could be wrong, but i think the Packers try to rework his deal at a realistic compensation level.
Getting rid of him just creates yet another need.
My joe six pack opinion is....
He can either play for the Packers at 7-9 million, or for another team at 7-9 million.
We'll have to see how this shakes out.
If he doesn't want to play ball in a restructure, considering that the Packers have already given him 81 million, i say he can kick rocks.
