Packers Daily: Rodgers doc tries to rewrite Packers history
The Netflix documentary Aaron Rodgers: Enigma features a scene that clearly manipulates an interview with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur in an attempt to reduce GM Brian Gutekunst's role in selecting Jordan Love. The question is...why?

I think it's safe to say that Rodgers really dislikes Gutekunst and was fond of Thompson. Since Jordan is perceived as successful, Thompson gets the credit. Most NFL fans don't know much about who chose Love nor will they do the necessary research to find out. AR doesn't want fans to think his team was losing confidence in him. He has larger platform than Gute so he can control (or try) to control the narrative. Rodgers understands media, manipulation & message and does not let the truth get in the way; perception trumps reality. I don't have Netflix but have watched several talking points and the Trailer and there are so many omissions, untruths, cover-ups, etc. I'd say the 'documentary' is what Rodgers wants people to see-and much of that is untrue. 'He doesn't get cell service in Malibu', 'magically decided to not retire, etc.
Rodgers has become a chronic liar.
More magical thinking than a hallucinatory DMT journey through the jungle
He wouldn't want me to direct his documentary-lol.
