The #1 knock/red flag on Wicks coming out of college was bad hands, and it proved out true. The other good news, other than Gutey killed the trade getting 2 picks, is Savion Williams and Will Shepard are already in the house and have more talent and potential than Wicks ever had.
I agree with Nags in that GB will draft a TE & RB this draft. Sam Roush has been my #1 TE all year because he is a complete TE just like Kraft. Considering how bad his QB was at Stanford, he even had great receiving stats. And he should be available at the new #153 pick. 2nd pick is Tanner Kozoil. He is a much better version of Luke Musgrave and a better blocker. His forte is pass catching and averaged 85 catches the last 2 years.
I hope we take no RB before the 4th round and if Nicholas Singleton-Penn State is there I would grab him. He is Mike Washington only better over 4 years at a much better football school. Value pick @ RB is Noah Whittington-Oregon. He IS what we thought we were getting with Marshawn Lloyd, only healthier. Average 5.4 YPC for career, is a fabulous pass catcher, and a great blocker as well. He is probably a late round guy or priority UFDA.

"Savion Williams and Will Shepard are already in the house and have more talent and potential than Wicks ever had."
Accordioning to who exactly? 1st year NFL production:
Wicks (who just signed a $12.5M extension) 39/581/14.9/4TDs
Williams (who was drafted 2 rounds higher) 10/78/7.8/1TD
Shepard 0/0/0/0
Bottom line: Wicks outplayed his draft position, Williams under performed his, and Shepard is still sitting on a practice squad. But Wicks is the least talented of the three? Ok...lol
Not to be snarky, but you might wanna hang onto your day job.

What did he do in 2024 & 2025? He had 1 good year. Maybe you should go back to being a Bears fan now. How much are they paying trolls like you these days 13? You are starting to get on my nerves with your Bull$hit comments. You are just another one of those internet tough guys that is a cry baby in real life. Go suck your thumb big baby.

Calm down Nancy. So anyone who disagrees with you is a Bears fan? Pretty weak.
You posted that your players were more talented than Wicks. I responded with FACTS to dispute that. How about coming up with actual FACTS to support your argument other than "Go suck your thumb big baby." Real mature.
I'll wait.

Yeah, that was out of line. No excuses, had a really long weekend caregiving. Your "day job" comment just hit me the wrong way.

"Considering how bad his QB was at Stanford, he even had great receiving stats. And he should be available at the new #153 pick."
I'm no expert, but I don't think Roush will make it anywhere close to 153, and if he does, then you jump on him (unless you took dual purpose TE earlier). The Packers need to find another quality Y and Roush can play right away, in-line. I also like the fact that in a draft full of 24 year old prospects, he's only 22.
"2nd pick is Tanner Kozoil. He is a much better version of Luke Musgrave and a better blocker."
Koziol has been ridiculously productive catching the ball, and productivity in college is usually the best indicator of productivity in the pros. His track record as a pass catcher is light-years ahead of where Musgrave was in 2022. If the Packers could show that they know how to use TEs, I'd think he could be an interesting day 3 pick up, but I disagree on Koziol the blocker. He's a low effort, non-blocker at this point. Musgrave might not be a good blocker, but he entered the league (remember he was the starter at TE until someone blew up his kidney) better than Koziol is now. Koziol is essentially a big WR and will probably need to play as a move-TE/HB or big slot WR in the NFL.

What do you think about Marlin Klein-Michigan TE, Dobber? I am hoping it doesn't come down to GB taking a flyer on a 6th/7th round TE unless it is Kozeil, but Klein is interesting. Michigan notoriously underuses their TEs and Klein seems to have promise as a blocker and pass catcher. I don't want a TE that just blocks because everyone then know we won't throw to him. Roush or Bentley would be the top 2 targets for me.
