Well the Packers didn't trade up in the draft, and give up chances at drafting the TE who fell and would have filled a big need, Dallen Bentley, to not make Smack the starter. Or the swing tackle/swing guard they could have had in Diego Pounds.

This is the right move, show Smack how big of a commitment GB has made to him and how much they want him to succeed.

Now is the perfect time to shore up any other weakness on the team to take as much pressure off Smack as possible. Sign 1 of Clowney or Epenesa to fill the remaining hole and take pressure off Parsons to return too fast. Also fill the need @ backup blocking TE, make the trade for Schoonmaker from the Cowboys. Since Vallentine can't tackle and Hadden is still recovering from surgery, maybe another cheap veteran @ CB would be wise.

It looks like GB plans to fill RB2 from within out of Lloyd, Strong, or Martinez. If not we can grab a RB in the summer.

The Packers need to strengthen every last week spot to go as far as they can in the playoffs, but even More so to take pressure off the new kicker to have to win games for them.

I expect Smack to win games for us early on in the season Before Kraft and Parsons come back

Going to need him scoring 3 fg plus a game

You get about 9 to 11 possessions a game and need to kick at least 3 fg plus and get 3 tds a game. Or something with that combination

We lost good good receivers in Doubs and wicks

We don’t have a second running back

Se need Douglas back to at least get these guts line up. I think with him. X. Williams and Bullard would be a good combo
