The Bears fan wonder why they didn’t have 3 to 7 plays for Mailk in the playoff game …

I heard they are glad Malik is leaving …..

If I was Malik I would stick around one more year….

Love is the better player. Fans are always clamoring for the back up and think he is better. They will be doing that in Chicago fairly soon because their QB can't even complete 60% of his passes.

You don't get many 2nd chances in this league. You only say you would stick around because as a fan you want that. If you where in his shoes you would strike while the iron his hot so you can make as much money as you can.

Malik Willis' open market value will probably never be higher than it is now.

If he's successful with Mike LaFleur his next contract will be in the stratosphere.

They should have had Malik in the last series lineup in backfield could snap the ball to either one of them

I think Malik gets the ball to Watson quicker and we scored on a last second play.

Oh the wasted opportunities and no Wilson carry the rock.

He was like the Packers vs broncos Super Bowl. All we needed to do was run the ball in 2nd half. But MLf and Mike Holmgren got greedy and passed the ball and lost. Andy Reid is still pissed about that

We could have used Malik’s skills or least to fake it like the broncos did with there running back with mirgrains Davis. Someone has to account for Malik.

But no.

No Malik and Wilson 1 carry

3 runs in the 3 rd qtr. and the rest is history

I hope the new coaches call bs on some of MLF doings when it matters in a game …

Need to win 9 homes games next year

Should be the motto for regular season. Then 2 more at home. Because we got the bye.

Also will find out a lot about the NFL is the sked lots of division games when we may not have Parsons and Kraft back.

That’s why need to win 9 home games in regular season..

Put THAT ON YOUR MIRROR AT HOME LOOK AT IT EVERYBDAY. 9-0 regular season and 11-0 for the season

Use your wife or girlfriend lipstick to write it with….

Has any team ever used a system of two alternating QBs? Just curious, I'm thinking it could seriously wreck some defensive game plans if the opposing team is constantly switching between two very different QBs. You plan for JL, but then you get Malik, they start to adjust for Malik, and boom JL is back in.

It has been tried in college and even in the pros to a small extent with gadget guys. It usually ends up causing unforced errors. Being on offense is about being in rhythm with your teammates and it all starts with your field general. The OL gets used to the cadence of a QB and uses it their advantage. WRs and QBs haven their signals they have practiced. Switching out the leader of your offense is rarely a good idea.

What you end up doing is just confusing your own team. Also one QB is usually a lot better and I believe that to be true with Love. Willis ran a very limited offense and had some luck break his way. I am not convinced he will be a good starter in this league. Fans always love the back up and always think he should get playing time.

I think for a time Pittsburgh tried it with Hanratty and Bradshaw. I vaguely remember other attempts. Certainly happened in college ball.

The Cowboys alternated Roger Staubach and Craig Morton for about the first half of the 1971 season. In some games, the alternated plays. It didn't go well.

Assuming it was for around $5M/year. Why would they not approach Love with the proposal for him to DECREASE his salary to cover the Willis re-resigning. Anyone here use a range of viscosity in their oil changes? It would cause headaches for other team's defenses.
