Nice to see Robinson and Guion make plays. Big question on Guion: Will he play all (or most) of the time or just whenever he is motivated (i.e. the next Viking game)? Looks he like CAN play but I am not sure if he WILL play.

Maybe Guion is finally healthy and in football shape. Remember he didn't play all preseason.

He's just not a 3-4 NT. He had his sack playing DT in the 4-3. That was a nice spin move he put on that C/G.

Agreed, he is not really an NT. Played DT for Minnesota, and it was thought given his size and strength that he could give GB some snaps at NT if necessary. I suggest that he was slated to play (if he even made the team, mind you) as a DT in the 4-3 under primarily with some rotation into NT. Also thought Boyd would see some snaps at NT when he came into camp weighing 328 pounds.

I have hoped that Guion might get better as he rounds into shape after missing almost all of preseason and adjusting to 2 new schemes (the 3-4 and the 4-3 under would both be new to him, I think). He did get better (from a low baseline from game 1) in games 2 and 3, but regressed badly against Chicago. So, not sure what to expect, but I am hoping for adequacy from Guion with Pennel coming on as the season progresses.

The good:
The Defense, Lacy, Capers

The bad:
Flynn's interception. The Vikings.

The ugly:
Greg Jennings. With him talking about how life is so much better in Minnesota, I hope he wasn't talking about football life.

No No No. The GOOD, the old video of the Viking guy trying to do the lambeau leap. Thought I was going to wet myself laughing so hard. My gosh that was puny.

aren't you the guy who always posts how good the Vikings draft and how great their defense is? I loved when Peppers outran their RB during the INT return TD. And nice to see that our low level draft picks put the hurt on the highly talented purple squad and took them out to the woodshed.

He's the one Pete. Been bragging about the mighty queens since pre-season. Got most of their yards in garbage time.

Good: Morgan Burnett, Julius Peppers, and Eddie Lacy - I didn't know Peppers was still that fast.

Bad: Christian Ponder and Matt Flynn - Is Tolzien ready to take over at #2 yet?

Ugly: Yeah, can't quibble with that one - the Minnesota Vikings.

Matt should be put in as a 3rd string qb instead of the backup qb

They got lucky on the long sideline pass to Jordy. Guy was beat and stuck his arms up with his back to the play.

Which, by the way, is technically defensive pass interference. It is never called when the DB sticks up his arm without trying to make a play on the ball), but it is PI.

Much needed type of game . Burnett even looked good. Nothing to complain about really. Hawks missed tackle was pretty embarrassing tho.

A national day of mourning declared in Minnesota, business's and schools shut down, the Wisconsin national guard called in to distribute food and water, massive search underway for a guy named COW.

Who could ? But now they believe! Do you believe, Cow? I know you want to believe. The team that broke your heart in the 70's and 80's is long gone. Let it go. It's ok to hope again, it will have little effect on the outcome and you'll have more friends.

of course COW has to end his comments with a negative remark. just more proof he is not a fan. the correct response is 'the Packers are showing improvement in the run game and the defense seems to be coming together" I knew they had it in them.

Sorry Aaron, but you are wrong. There IS a correct response: "GB played a complete game last night. They displayed ability to control the game on both the OL and the DL. It remains to be seen if they can do that against an NFL caliber roster."

There. Fixed it for ya. :)

if you all want a good laugh go back to the prediction post and read COW'S comments, wrong on every point, I said the Packers would run the ball better and the Defense would play better. COW said even with Ponder the game would not be a gimmie.

We'll count how times you're WRONG by the end of the year. You said 0-4 to start. Also they wouldn't hold ANY team under 20. Rodgers is average at best. Lacy is over rated.

HA HA is making Burnett look better by moving in on the ball faster so give HA HA a chance he is coming on, we can all agree our safety play after 5 games has already improved. like the man said RELAX.

I'm watching In Case You've Missed It (right now...had to pause it) on Packers.com and there's a play against the Vikings Morgan Burnett made that was outstanding! Live,it was just a damn good play. On film - it was awesome.

3rd and 3.

WR Jarius Wright ran a drag route into Micah Hyde's and Tramon Williams' zones.

Morgan Burnett diagnosed that play extremely quick and beat them both there for the tackle.
