I hope Rollins is ok. That said, Randall and Rollins have been putrid all year.

Hopefully the duct tape that Capers used in the 2nd half carries through next week.

What was the ranking of Randall, 120th out of 123 CB's? Passing rating over 120 when throwing against him? Part is injuries but this kids head is so screwed up right now, I don't believe he has an ounce of confidence.

nope.

If we can hold together the secondary next week. We win. But that grenade just feels like it's going to blow up really really soon....

Good to get the NFC Norris anyway. And who knows. Crazy things happen in single elimination tourneys.

A couple weeks ago NFL 1000 had Rollins and Randall as 91 and 95 outta 100 CBs and Clay Matthews as 41st outta 48 OLB.

Not that it is official or means anything....

Eight years in a row in the playoffs!!

The "Mashed Potato" Mike and "Albino" Ted idiots need to read that carefully (a big assumption that they can read). Perhaps they need a shorter version: Eight playoff appearances in a row!!

Now those buffoons can pick up their other lame argument of nothing matters but SB wins with AR as QB. Nevermind that they were the same droolers calling for Hundley seven weeks ago. The same knuckleheads posting about Olivia Munn. Winning is made even sweeter when ignorance is exposed along with it.

The Good.... Goal to Goal and Red Zone Efficiency.....Both 100%
Richard "Sweet Feet" Rodgers... Did you SEE that move for YAC??
Geronimo, Nelson, Adams, & Cook... All were effective and all made big plays. This Offense is lethal and harder to defend when you have ALL those guys making plays at the same time.
Ripper and Monty...17 carries for 105 yards.
Hyde...For all the flack that guy takes on here he needs props when he makes a play.

The Bad... Boger's Crew... I'm going to start praying the Packers don't get Boger or Triplette as long as they keep playing.

The Ugly...Q's injury...I hope that young man is okay.

"Hyde...For all the flack that guy takes on here he needs props when he makes a play."

His mental makeup must be something else. He gets beat and he misses tackles, but he bounces back and makes plays.

Don't leave out Gunter. In the midst of all the chaos in the secondary and for a guy who was nominally the 4th or maybe 5th CB coming out of camp, he's emerged to have a pretty decent year, all told. Where would they be without him at this point?

Right on about Gunter, I think he'll just keep getting better and better. Really the whole secondary played okay considering the Packers had Hyde and Gunter outside and Burnett in the slot. The Defense held them to 10 2nd half points and 7 of those came on a prayer.

Edit... The Packers have given up A LOT of yards but as it was pointed out before the game the Defense had improved a lot in scoring defense. this IS the NFL Goodell wanted. Tons of yards, points, and offense. I wouldn't want my kid to play CB.

I was certainly wrong about Gunter. I was someone who didn't think he could make it as a CB and was probably better suited to be playing safety. I'll be eating my crunchy fried crow, now....

"The Defense held them to 10 2nd half points and 7 of those came on a prayer."

In Edit: People are getting on the defense, but aside from the Chicago game where they just plain were soft and lucky that the game wasn't 5 minutes longer, people lose track of the fact that they gave up...
Eagles 13
Texans 13
Seahawks 10
Vikings 25 (with garbage-time TD)
Lions 24 (with garbage-time TD)
Sure, DC's defenses have always hemorrhaged yards, but take away that four-game stretch in the middle of the season and they usually hold teams down enough to let the offense win. I'd be curious to see where this defense ranks minus those four games.

The good: The Packers sneak into the playoffs once again on Matt Stafford's brain fart play.

Bad: Tightwad Ted and Dum Capers get big contract extensions.

I wouldn't say they "sneaked" into the playoffs: they won their way in and were in control of their own destiny after Detroit dropped that game to the Giants. Detroit "sneaked" in...if it wasn't for Washington coming up small yesterday, they would be out.

Seriously, dude, what are you (and others like you... ahem... rdent) so pissed off about? Were you hoping that the Packers would lose and the Lions win? As it is, the Packers win a football game and head back to the playoffs - yet again - and you and the usual crew feel obligated to come on the board and act like perfect a-holes.

What's the deal with that?

Had the Packers lost then I guess you could call it a partial sneak to get in as a Wildcard Team. But they didn't lose, they won and EARNED the North. Both teams played 16 games, the Packers and Lions both played each other twice, & the Packers beat them both times. Throw in Washington losing I'd have to disagree. That's not sneaking in, that's taking the Booty!!

psst whispers come here Egbert: maybe you can come back if the packers lose a game. But talking about how bad the coaching is and how lame the organization is during a 6 game winning streak, making the playoffs, winning the division, and playing at home in the playoffs - sort of makes you look foolish.

The loss of Shields has proven to be more than a significant injury.

I'm having a hard time understanding the "good" attached to Datone Jones, but I agree with the others mentioned.

Having Favre as our QB for more than a decade was really good and to follow him with Aaron Rodgers is a God Send!

I remember Datone making a nice stop on a RB at the LOS. He didn't get credit for a tackle for loss, but it must have been close. He didn't do much with his rush, and was called for being off-sides. Yeah, can't say that he played well, or even above average. IMO, the DL across the board was at best average, and against an OL missing two starters, that was very disappointing.

Bad: Heading into the playoffs paper thin at CB.

Ugly: Q's injury and the Lions getting chippy during the victory formation. Suh is gone. Time to get a little class Lions.

Good -
Rodgers, Montgomery/Ripkowksi, Cook, Allison, Adams (minus the dunk), Bakhtiari, Hyde, McCarthy, Capers.

Bad-
Defending the Right sideline... Collinsworth brought it up last night and the Packers have been atrocious on the right sideline.

Ugly-
Injuries. Down to 1 true CB in the game due to injury is a very bad thing.
Injuries of note from the game. Cobb didn't play due to injury. Montgomery got nicked up in the game but was able to return. Randall and Rollins both suffered bad injuries. Dorleant suffered a knee injury. Thomas injured his back. Bulaga got hurt and Spriggs did as well.

Way to many injuries at the wrong time of the year.

The Spriggs injury: McCarthy clearly had the look on his face: "Oh, crap, why the hell did I call that play."

The Thomas back injury was, perhaps, the most significant. Going to be hard to get that right in a week. He's become very important.

I think you have to get Hawkins in there. He's the speediest corner outside of Shields. Even if he can't cover Beckham, he can at least make it a bit tougher.

At the time, I thought Spriggs, who jumped in on a play a little late, took a shot to the jewels. Has anyone heard anything on it? It was at the very end of the game, so he didn't get a chance to re-enter.

It didn't look like much Unless I missed something, I haven't rewatched any of the game yet. I think Bulaga will play but it would be nice if Tretter was ready heading in opposed to Barclay.

If Barclay plays, it's imperative that they keep a fullback (or two) in the game. That really limits the touches for Montgomery, who is a liability in pass pro. However, given what Rip did yesterday, I'm not too worried.

Datone Jones in the good? What did I miss.

The great - Aaron Rodgers. Kept drives going with both his feet and arm. He's been playing as well as at anytime he's been here. Single reason they have any chance of doing something in the post-season.

The good - I'd put Cook in there also. He's provides a big target with speed that opponents have to devote resources to. In his limited time he and Arod have connected a number of times to extend drives.

The bad - The defense as a whole. I'm so tired of having an opponent pinned deep and then see them extricate past mid-field. Good defenses set up their offenses on short-fields. Ours just hopes to keep them from going 90 yards.

The ugly - Schum's punting. And in a controlled environment. After an earlier 28 yarder Schum finished-up with an 18 yarder that set Detroit up in instant scoring position. And on the the last kick, Detroit had no one back. All he had to do was get it in the field of play and let it roll. Between his punt and the poorly played Hail Mary (Detroit had three guys in position to our none), GB was forced to handle an onside kick. It should have never come to that,

Your still messed up with adams there. You just can't stop over hyping the guy. Every catch was 10 yds. or less. OMG he caught it. Great! Thats what he's paid to do. Allison,Nelson, & COOK got A-rod going. And thats exactly why this team is moving up. It takes someone other than Adams to get A-rod going. Adams best contribution to the packer's offense, is his YAC. That is what he should have shown everyone for 3 years. I give credit to MM, more than anyone. Not Adams,Not TT, Not A-rod. Without MMs play calling, Adams is a WR that will drag down A-Rod. The guys that get A-rod going, Catch the ball. Keep Adams 10 yards within the LOS and this team will go further in the playoffs!

Really??? Sometimes we see eye to eye when it comes to Ted T or subjects about FA, but you're just plain WRONG about Adams this season. Did you know Adams averaged more YAC than Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, or Larry Fitzgerald, and Jordy Nelson this season?

Adams caught 75 passes for 997 yards, 12 TD's and 13.3 YPC average. 401 of those yards came after the catch for an average of 5.3 YAC.

Jones.... 423 yards after catch for 5.1 YAC average
Brown...387 yards after catch for 3.7 YAC average
Fitz.........360 yards after catch for 3.4 YAC average
Nelson...340 yards after catch for 3.5 YAC average

These are just some of the names. Obviously other players had a much better average than Adams but still. Not too shabby.

https://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/yards-after-the-catch/2016/

Just saying, Adams had a damn good season, and it wasn't even in a contract year!

Yes Nick I am wrong this season as far as Adams Stats. But I see more than stats. I pointed out his YAC. And thats the biggest improvement by Adams. He has mentally made the biggest jump of any WR. But he's still to emotional to say he's not going to be a s**tty diaper waiting to happen. I don't like the fact the packers gave him 3 years. And their still not out of the woods with him. MM has gotten smart with him. No player has been a bigger tease and used so skillfully by MM. Well Done MM!

Stockholder... I don't know about you but I was shocked as hell to see Adams had done THAT well. Better averages than Brown AND Jones, that was a surprise. I understand he's not been what we had hoped for, but if he continues to improve and is even better next season, then I certainly can't be disappointed about his production. (Me Personally)

Only one player in the NFL has more TD catches than Adams, and that's Jordy Nelson.

Only ten players in the NFL have caught more 40+ yard receptions than Adams.

We've already addressed YAC.

you think that's being a tease that's holding back Aaron Rodgers?
