The only way I see the Packers losing this game to the Bear is if Jordan Love turns the ball over.
From reading other commenters’ comments and looking at the Podcast Videos’ comment section, I guess I am one of the few people that listen to these podcast videos (i..e. Aaron, Corey, Andy, etc.) and fact check and post comments.
10 minutes and 6 seconds of Aaron Nagler Corey Behnke’s “Packer Transplants 288: Chicago Business Trip”
Corey Behnke:
“So so we're at 20 (games), I can't count 28 games in with Jordan love at the helm right we're under 30 right now under 30 right you know what would what is your expectation so I started to do some homework and look back at like you know Aaron Rogers second year Brett Favre's second year I don't have to look too far to tell you that they're kind of trash.”
NOT TRUE!!
Corey, all the readers, listeners and commenters here know that Cheeshead TV despite its proclamations of “independence” are at the service of Brian Gutekunst and must spew Brian’s propaganda – especially excuses, scapegoats, exaggerations, equivocation, sophistry, regarding Jordan Love, Gutekunst prize pick (a true Packer fan catastrophe) - to retain access to the locker room, press conferences, interviews, the Stadium, etc. etc..
Corey and Aaron – as we can all see put downs of Aaron Rodgers – who played the most seasons as a Packer – 18 - 4 at an MVP level in the Packers 100+ year history - are also required by “Gutey”.
We understand and accept these facts, BUT AT LEAST TELL THE TRUTH!!
Aaron Rodgers in 2009 – his 2nd year as a starter – led the entire NFL with the lowest interception % at 1.4%.
For TRUE comparison, Jordan Love this year – his 2nd year as a starter - has an interception % of 4.2%.
Corey, for PERSPECTIVE 58 Quarterbacks have started at least 1 game in the NFL this season and ONLY TWO – Will Levis and Anthony Richardson – have a higher interception % than Jordan Love. So Jordan is not 1st like Rodgers was, but 56th!!!
And in 2009 the NFL was much less friendly to QBs and Receivers than it is now – you can’t touch the QB now, not ture in 2009 – the average interception % in 2009 was 3.1% and in 2024 through last week the average interception % is 2.3%.
And Jordan has now started 27 games, including the 2 playoff games. And as we know Jordan Love is 13 wins and 13 losses overall as a starter – see my note below - and 4 wins and 11 losses when he throws an interception – even 1 interception!! Jordan is 9 wins and 2 losses as a starter when he does not throw an interception.
Note: I credit Malik Willis with the Jaguar victory as Jordan bailed out early in the 3rd quarter after he threw the interception in the 2nd quarter and the Jordan was flailing and the Packers trailing early in the 3rd.
The injuries are just another excuse and Jordan must have a pretty low pain threshold while having banked that NFL record $75 million guaranteed bonus “Gutey” gave after Jordan was holding out (“holding in”) and “Gutey”was again screwing a Packer veteran, this time Aaron Jones again over $1 milloin.
Aaron Rodgers had the same Knee MCL Grade 2 sprain in the second quarter of the season opener against the Bears in 2018 and was carted off the field. Deshone Kizer replaced Rodgers fumbled on his first possession and threw a pick 6 on his second possession. The Packer trailed the Bears 20 to 0 when Rodgers returned for the first possession of the second half. Rodgers then threw 3 touchdown passes and led the Packers to a 24-23 victory.
Rodgers played the remainder of the 2018 with the MCL sprain and a bone bruise, not missing a single game.
And Rodgers threw just 2 interceptions THAT ENTIRE SEASON - an NFL record and Rodgers is in 2nd and 3rd place as well.
A far cry from what Jordan is doing – we have gone from 13-3, 13-3, and 13-4 team on the brink of Super Bowls to a 13-13 QB due to Gutekunst’s collosal catastrophic moves. We are only 6-3 due to Packer team that has rescued and carried the prize pick, Jordan. A far cry from the day the QB would carry the Packers and its inept GM "Gutey".
