Jimmy Graham to be Released Thursday

There have already been reports confirming the Packers were to release Jimmy Graham this offseason, a move that surprised nobody. Now we know when it will be official: Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

So there you have it. Graham will no longer be a Packer as of tomorrow, and he will be free to sign with any team that wants his services, if there's anyone willing to kick the tires.

Sorry to see him go. The years haven't been kind to him.

Highest paid TE in the league the last two years at 10 mil per.
Seems like the years have been quite kind.

This is a year too late. It was a high risk signing from day 1. So they should have been paying better attention to the warning signs that were hard to miss in 2018. Instead they flushed another $9 mil in cap down the toilet. They could be north of $35 mil in cap space now. Instead, they will have to make due with $27 mil.

Signed him too late in his career. Good luck Jimmy and thanks!

Cannot think of one single benefit that came from signing him unless hindering the team from getting a real TE counts as a benefit, though I'm sure those that praised this signing then will cower and say they were against it.
