Extra Cheese: Davante is close. So close.

Aaron chats with Packers fans as the team prepares to take on the Chargers.

Earlier this afternoon, I held a Packers chat over on our YouTube channel to talk about all things Green and Gold after the NFL's trade dealine came and went with a whimper instead of a bang. You can catch the replay below.

Be sure to subscribe to the channel if you'd like to participate in future chats.

HOORAY!!!

Oct 31st !!

Darrius Shepard & Evan Baylis signed back onto the practice squad after release.

I still have faith in D. Shepard as a WR.
Maybe not pr/kr

Unrelated to the above topic but never the less: I just finished watching Antonio Freeman make "the catch". I goes like this-late in the game against a really good viking team back in the Mike Sherman-Farve days, Free was going out for a pass with the vikings corner defending. The ball bounced off the viking corner, and landed on Free, who had fallen down, well he juggled the ball, the ball never hit the ground, he secured the ball, then jumped up and ran 15 yards or so for a TD. All the while time was running out, and the viking corner, thought the vikings had won the game, (he was cut the next day) Anyway, Free knew the rules of the game and the Viking guy did not.

No!
The 49ers gave up a 3rd and a 4th and they GOT a 5th from Denver!
At the pace things are going the 49er's 4th and the Broncos 5th could be just a couple picks apart.

They passed on those guys...because they don't need them. Have you watched the last four games?

I get the high price fo Sanders and Robby Anderson and Sanu.

Yes I have watched ALL the games since 1992 !! And more from before.

Allison is NOT getting it done.. The other receivers are doing good but the Pack is still lacking, in my opinion if you want to get to and win the super bowl.

The PACKERS could have JUMPED on Drake!

Arizona’s decision to part with a conditional draft pick — it will be a fifth- or sixth-round choice — in exchange for a half-season rental of Drake is significant. It shows general manager Steve Keim didn’t want to suck up any losses while running backs David Johnson and Chase Edmonds recovered from injuries.

When I saw Drake was traded for a 6th I thought the same thing. He should have been a Packer. Adding Drake even for depth would have been a good idea. Jones and Williams have nobody behind them especially that Carson was signed by Detroit.
Now we will have to scour the waiver wire and other practice squads when/if an injury occurs. We should be doing that anyway for a capable kr/punt returner. I just read we are 30th in kr and 32nd in pr this year. On the positive side we can only get better.
