Tundra Vision\'s Take

C.D. Angeli over at Tundra Vision has an epic post regarding the 2008 Packers and all the major players in the drama that has unfolded over the course of the last 12 months. While I don't agree with all of it, it's a well considered take on our favorite team and is well worth your time.

When did a re-cap become epic?

Wow, that was a great article.
I disagree with his comment that A-Rod only brought the Packers back in the 4th quarter vs the Lions tho. He did it vs the Panthers as well. In fact, if GB scores from the goal line late in that game, I believe the press would have been using the term "Favre-like" ad nauseum to describe his 2nd half, particularly the final 9 minute drive.

That was a great article, and I have to admit, I think I agree with him on all counts.

Very interest take on TT and MM. Not a whole lot to take issue with. Would be interesting to know how many of the 42 draft picks are actually good NFL players now.

I heard MM today describing the team as having practiced so well this year, but not being able to translate it to winning games. Did he ever think the practices are not designed correctly? Maybe he is just a lousy teacher.

I was thinking it was more like Atlas Shrugged. Sophomoric, inadvertantly humorous, and upon finishing it, leaves one asking: "I spent HOW long reading that crap?"

dusty - I did indeed.

bucky - that made me snarf my coffee. Thanks. ;) Interested to hear what you thought was 'crap' about it. As I said in my post, I don't agree with all of it, but I think it's a thoughtful piece with lots of good insight. You disagree?

I prefer something a little lighter than Anna - perhaps "Walden Two" by Skinner.

Where we all live in blog utopia.

Didn't read it as somedays I actually have to work, but to add on to Jerseypackfan's wish list, J Peppers, N Asomugha, and Albert Hayensworth.
