An unnecessarily early look at our roster.
QB: Rodgers and Love.
RB: Jones, Dillon, Hill/Taylor 1 inactive.
WR: Watkins, Lazard, Watson, Cobb, Amari, Doubs. 1 inactive.
OL: Bakhtiari, Runyan, Myers, Newsome, Nijman, Rhyan. Four more, 1inactive.
TE: Lewis, Deguara, Daffney, Davis, 1 inactive.
That's 24. We'll add Jenkins and Tonyan and I'm sure others will be put on IR to make room for them. So other than the offensive line unit, it's pretty much decided on that side of the ball. The defense is a little more complicated matter. After our first 15 guys or so, we could see a free-for-all.
Amos, Savage, Alexander, Douglas, Stokes, Campbell, Walker, Gary, Smith, Clark, Lowry, Slaton, Reed, Wyatt. They're all pretty good roster shots. We'll carry six more. I can't say who at this time. I would say that the guys who were here last year, like Black and Barnes and Shemar, have an advantage over the new guys but they could be beaten out by a Day 3/UDFA rookie.
